The pastor of a Korean church in the Atlanta area said he plans to tell his congregation “it’s time for us to act” when he delivers his sermon on the first Sunday after a 21-year-old man, Robert Aaron Long, was charged with killing eight people at three massage parlors in the vicinity of the church.
Christians should “not just pray, not just worry … it’s time for us to act,” the Rev. Byeong Han of Korean Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, told The Associated Press.
“I’m going to urge people with love and peace that we need to step up and address this issue, so that ... our next generation should not be involved in tragic ... violence,” the pastor said. “That’s what Christians need to do.”
Another Asian American pastor, the Rev. Jong Kim of Grace Korean Presbyterian Church in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell, was quoted as saying that he had spoken to other Korean pastors in the area, urging them to join the group Asian Americans Advancing Justice, to discuss issues of race and ethnicity and also help the victims' families to organize funeral services.

Remember when that Asian kid shot up Virginia Tech? Was that a sign of Asian Supremacy? Did anyone try to lay that at the feet of all Asians? Why weren’t the words ‘hate crime’ ever used for that?

Possibly these Asian pastors should counsel the people of their parishes about the sins of those in the sex industry. Might mention that the profession has a high rate of violence and is not only immoral but dangerous.
At the very least yes.
Not only that, but the Asian community is very very harsh on those they employ - underpaying them heavily among other odious deeds.
My post isn’t to broadbrush an entire community, but there are known nefarious deeds that go on in Asian communities.
So this man of God is okay with the work the women were engaged in and lying about why they were killed.
Time for the Korean varmint to go home. He’s being used by the honky ‘RATS as a political WEAPON.
I suspect that even though it wasn’t expressed as such, the Korean community took a backlash from that incident many years ago.
Same thing happens when an American soldier/sailor/airman stationed overseas commits a serious crime. If you’re in the minority, you pay the price of bad actors.
This is my opinion. I don’t have any statistics behind it, though my wife is Asian.
Asians are caught in a bit of a conundrum with these SJWs.
They are called white adjacent, and supposedly benefit from “white privilege”.
Yet these attacks are the fault of “white supremacists” and Bad Orange Man.
But don’t ever say that most of the perpetrators are black.
However,I don't recall seeing stats for Asian murder victims.
I've seen it suggested that Asians are often victimized by blacks when it comes to assault and other crimes of violence. If there are reliable stats to back that then serious thought must be given to that fact.
