Singing..........Victory in Jesus!
What memories this song brings.
I grew up in a very small Nazarene church. Every Sunday evening... yes we had a Sunday evening service also... we would sing Victory in Jesus... as we went around and hugged each other and greeted our brothers and sisters in Jesus.
So this song brings with it a image of love and affection in my childhood.

FATHER, and that is what some of us were. But we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor. 6:11) So there is hope for those outside of the GOSPEL. For we too were dead in our trespasses and sins, in which we used to walk when we conformed to the ways of the world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. . . Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath. . . BUT GOD, who is rich in MERCY, even when we were dead in our trespasses and sins made us alive with Christ. Thank you FATHER for your great MERCY.Amen to Every Word of your Beautiful, Powerful Prayer, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
