No I didn’t God judges justly. Your answer is in that statement. You want to dig further, the there are plenty of excellent resources online you can read. You have been on fr long enough and have seen enough threads on the issues of “innocence” to know what the Bible says about all men’s conditions. Briefly I Wil. Tell you that God was merciful in sparing the children of growing up in wickedness and ending up in eternity In hell. Like I said, if you wish to dig deeper, ther are many excellent resources to you question ing of God’s judgements online
‘There were no innocent children killed in the Great Flood?’
I see we’re pursuing the same line of reasoning; and in reality, there is no good answer to it...
“I see we’re pursuing the same line of reasoning; and in reality, there is no good answer to it...”
I was not trying to find an answer to why. I was challenging the accuracy of his statement.
Since you like questions,, IL. Ask you a question. Is God guilty of killing “innocent children” if parents know a hurricane is coming in Florida, or Texas or wherever, and they refuse to get their children, or themselves for that matter, to safety?
GOD GAVE the people every opportunity to save themselves AND their children. They refused. Noah even preached to the people and warned them.
“Like I said, if you wish to dig deeper, ther are many excellent resources to you question ing of God’s judgements online”
Like I said, I was not questioning God’s judgement so why do you keep coming back to this issue!
I guess it is because you do not wish to answer my question.
“Since you like questions,, IL. Ask you a question. Is God guilty of killing “innocent children””
Since you don’t like answering questions why should expect others to respond to your questions!
“GOD GAVE the people every opportunity to save themselves AND their children. They refused. Noah even preached to the people and warned them.”
Were those babies innocent?
‘Briefly I Wil. Tell you that God was merciful in sparing the children of growing up in wickedness...’
okay, I get what you’re saying, and I agree this isn’t the place to bat this around), but I would just recommend that when you use this line of reasoning (children saved from perdition) you also find out exactly what happens to a person when he drowns...hint; it ain’t pretty...
” Is God guilty of killing “innocent children” “
Is it your premise that God did kill innocent children?
You know the answer to that. You know what the Bible says, and you also know that God know the future. Do you claim the children were innocent? There are no e righteous, no not one. God has a perfect right to judge as He does, anytime He chooses, however He chooses as long as it is I line with His nature. He can not rule otherwise. He rules justly, that is your answer. If you wish to k kw how that ruling was just, there are many excellent online sites that discuss why. I have you a couple of reasons why already but you can dig deeper if you choose too, eep saying I am not answering, but I am. The answer lies I. The fact that God is just and rules justly, and In the fact that there are none righteous, only some who are not judged to hell because they die before the age of knowledge. That is different than being “innocent”
I don’t see what the method of dying has to do with God’s judgment on a people? mAn brought sin and destruction and accidents,, and disease etc on himself.. before the fall, there was none of that. God warned man not to sin, but he ignored God, and brought all that on himself.
I guess I’m not seeing what you are implying?
“Do you claim the children were innocent?”
You answer a question with a question.
No I didn’t, I answered you above. I wanted to know whether you thi k the chi, dren that died In The flood were “innocent” or not
” That is different than being “innocent”
In your post you used ‘innocent’, not righteous. How do you define innocent.
Like Abraham said, the Judge of the whole earth will do right.
This is a nice post; good food for thought.
“Bless ‘em dry”.
“No I didn’t, I answered you above. I wanted to know whether you thi k the chi, dren that died In The flood were “innocent” or not”
You asked a question using ‘innocent children’ in quotes. I asked you to define that term so I could accurately answer your question. You then asked me if I thought they were innocent.
If you can’t define the terms you are using, stop using them.
“No I didn’t, I answered you above. I wanted to know whether you thi k the chi, dren that died In The flood were “innocent” or not”
LOL! That was my original question to you!
I’ll post what I like when I like. Who are you to order me to do anythjng? And besides,, I defined what the children who died were. Several times now.
Is God the giver and taker of life?
Are any people innocent of being sinners?
Can God justly rule that beings in a sin state be destroyed?
How much clearer can it be than that?
