The true progressive is desperately seeking an alternative to God or a higher meaning.
VDH explains this as well as anyone.
They need substitutes for the idea of God and eternity. This kind of narcissism is their justification to trample on the rights of others who are not as “enlightened”. It is why a 28 year old bartender who was not even liked by her co-workers is suddenly one of the most powerful people in the country. Because “she believes” and you don’t.
It’s kinda funny. In his speech Trump was using a form of the argument I use with leftists regarding the stolen election. They keep talking about Trumps attorneys losing in court, etc.
I explain to them that this is like a bank robbery. We know the vault is empty. Now we’re just trying to figure out who did it and how. Just because we don’t have “enough evidence” to bring the accused to trial doesn’t mean the money magically appears in the vault.
The robbery happened. All evidence points to it. We’re just trying to get to the bottom of HOW it happened, and get a court to hear our cases.
That’s actually a very well thought out explanation that makes sense.
Criminal insanity is always attempting to change reality to fit their image of what reality should be like.

It’s my experience that, even in small doses... Liberals will lay down skid marks, leaving the room in high dudgeon!! 😊
I could be friends with them if this were an actual debate. Instead, so many leftists and liberals and even some conservatives want us to adopt this mantra that the elections were clean, without argument.
I would personally love it if these elections ultimately turned out to be clean. Then it would just be “We chose poorly” rather than “there appeared to be fraud.”
Unfortunately, signs seem to indicate otherwise, and we should follow things to where the evidence takes use, rather than sign on with the “Elections Were Clean” cult.
That is a great analogy, the empty vault.
I also like to ask people, “how much voter fraud is the acceptable amount?”, when they go off about it wasn’t enough to change the election (because that is what the MSM told them).
