End Times Ping
PM me if you wish to be added to or removed from the End Times Ping List.
Maranatha!
Dr. Andy Woods has a great series on the Rapture on YouTube. It is his Sunday School lessons. The main service he is teaching Genesis. All good.

Good stuff and pretty much right on. Good job. Many are confused about these things. Good to give God’s Word clearly to bring comfort to the saints.
The Rapture can come tomorrow at 9:30 PDT or it can come on the afternoon of March 3, AD 99,000,339. The Bible doesn’t say when it will come and tells us not to speculate about that.
Learning to keep my eyes open more.
Here’s a little different look at the summary...
The Rapture
• Begins the Tribulation Period (Daniel’s 70th Week) followed by the reign of the Antichrist, God judging and punishing the world using Satan to do so.
• Jesus comes for the Church in the air and takes the Church to heaven
• Jesus will remove peace from the earth
• Approaches secretly like a thief in the night
• The Church and the Holy Spirit will be removed from the earth
• Launches the Marriage Supper of the Lamb
• The day or the hour is unknown to all except the Father (but saints should know the times and the seasons). The times of the Gentiles are not precisely counted.
• Jesus rescues His Church before the Wrath of the Lamb.
The Second Coming
• Ends the Tribulation Period (Daniel’s 70th Week) followed by the reign of the Christ, God binding Satan with chains.
• Jesus comes with the Church down to the earth, touches down on the Mt. of Olives, and it splits in two
• Jesus will establish peace on earth
• Approaches openly and every eye will see Jesus
• The lost will have been removed from the earth
• Ends the Marriage Supper of the Lamb
• The day and the hour is known. The times of God’s People, Israel, are precisely counted (Daniel 9:24-27).
• Jesus rescues Israel after the Wrath of the Lamb.
As previously posted, here is where I think we are in God’s timetable and Biblical Prophecy.
Well, we are between Daniel’s 69th Week (the death of Christ) and 70th Week (the coming Tribulation) and we are in the intervening 2000 years for the Time of the Gentiles which all signs show is quickly coming to an end. We are definitely in the End Times but not yet in the Seven-Year Wrath of the Lamb (the church will never been here for that (1 Thess. 5:9)).
However, notice that Scripture says, “In the last days I will pour out of my Spirit upon ALL flesh” (Joel 2:28). Now we know that, the Holy Spirit will be absent for the earth during the horrific seven -year tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week - even though during that time miraculously “all of Israel will be miraculously saved” (Rom 11:26)).
So when will God pour out his spirit on ALL flesh? NOW, before the Rapture, before the Tribulation. That’s another reason why I think we’re at the threshold of Luke 14:22-23, the last worldwide incoming of souls who will be spared from the unimaginable horror of what’s coming.
Well researched eschatology but with one other possibility, that the rapture will occur when the two witnesses are killed by the Antichrist but are resurrected after three days (Mid-Trib). The dead in Christ will rise first, then believers who are alive will be translated, blessed to have not experienced death.
Here the sequence of events listed in Revelation are not in chronological order. The seven seals are opened (Daniel’s sealed scroll), to prepare the way for the trumpets and vials of God’s vengeance. But the occurrence of the trumpets and vials overlap, drying of the Euphrates, 200 million soldiers from the East, etc, in quick succession when the Second Coming is near. The first 3.5 years will be a false peace as the two witnesses deliver their message for the world to repent. The second 3.5 years will be like hell on Earth. Men will seek death but it will flee from them. Still, those who do not have God’s mark on their forehead will refuse to repent of their sins.
I’ve seen a vision of the return of Christ, on a clear sunny day. The sign of Christ will be a great comet that the entire world will witness, bright enough to be seen during the day. The armies of the Sons of Light will ride on the comet’s tail. The sky and the sun will be darkened and the moon will turn to blood. Fire will consume the entire Earth as Christ’s armies defeat the sons of darkness. The animals will pant for lack of water. Then when all seems lost the entire Earth will be restored in an instant with green meadows and clear water, clear air, blue oceans teaming with life. All will rejoice and be satisfied and the animals will be safe. Jesus Christ will set up his kingdom on the Earth for a thousand years. But this is a great mystery.
I asked how long O Lord before your coming. A voice from heaven said “I have heard your prayers and have seen your tears.” “Therefore, as Hezekiah asked for more time, I have given 15 years to the inhabitants of the Earth to prepare for the end of days.” This vision was received in the fall of 2019 and the promise of an additional 15 years was received in the summer of 2020. Blessed are those who keep oil in their lamps, they will be ready.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Nobody knows the day or the hour but those who diligently study the signs in heaven, on the Earth and in the seas, like the sons of Issachar, they will understand the season of our deliverance.

But the Book of Revelation continually announces itself as a timeline, so your fast and loose license is not justified. The Two Witnesses die 3 1/2 years into Daniels' 70th Week - the Tribulation - after 1/2 of the world is dead.
So, no, the Church is not appointed to wrath (the 7-year Wrath of the Lamb) (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
Add that the unbelievers want the rocks to fall on them to hide them from the face of Christ.
Add that the unbelievers want the rocks to fall on them to hide them from the face of Christ.
From where is the underlined piece?
Mark13:32 says “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
can't see anything about the "sons of Issachar"
While nobody can know the exact hour and day Luke 21 gives multiple sights to look for to know Christ’s return is drawing near. Jesus concludes by saying: “Luke 21:28 (ESV): Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Matthew 24 covers much the same territory but I believe the passage in Luke is clearer.
Ok, but what about these sons of Issachar?!
Just a point about Luke 21. In Luke’s version of the Olivet Discourse, specifically Luke 21:20–24, there are details that were entirely fulfilled in 70 A.D. the New Scofield Reference Bible says that as well.
And 25 to 28
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Luke 21:5-36 deals with the answer to the question: WHEN WILL THE TEMPLE BE DESTROYED?
Luke 17:22-37 deals with the answer to the question WHAT WILL BE THE SIGN OF YOUR COMING AND OF THE CLOSE OF THE AGE?
I believe Luke 21.25-28 is clearly talking about the return of Christ - v. 27 makes this clear. I think Luke’s version of the Olivet discourse does a much better (or perhaps I should say clearer) job of distinguishing between the destruction of the Temple and the return Jesus than Matthew does. Throughout the Old Testament we also are warned that the end of times (or “day of the Lord”) will be accompanied by signs of the sun, moon and heavens. This seems to be a constant throughout prophecy. With regard to your question in your other post I have no idea what the Sons of Issachar is referring to. you’ll have to ask him about that. I am very much with you on the error of “date setters” and the practice of newspaper exegesis.
