Ursuline Sisters join growing list of US bishops telling LGBT youth that ‘God is on your side’

The statement appears to contradict Catholic teaching that holds that God does not make anyone homosexual

February 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – A group of U.S. religious sisters have joined a slowly growing list of U.S. bishops who are telling young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender that “God is on your side.”

LifeSiteNews reported Jan. 25 that seven bishops and one cardinal had signed a statement in partnership with the pro-homosexual advocacy group Tyler Clementi Foundation in support of young people who identify as LGBT. Since this report, four more bishops have been added along with the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville. The list of one cardinal and 11 bishops who support the statement are the following (names in bold are newly added):

That is a fairly objective assessment. A lesbian nun supporting lesbianism is not a surprise endorsement.

God certainly loves us all, but in the end will likely judge in accord with his revelations.
I'm thinking proselytizing the lesbian lifestyle is not a favored approach to a happy life-ever-after.

Women should not be in positions of spiritual headship even nuns or sisters. The problem is that for the most part contemporary male clergy have gladly surrendered their God assigned spiritual headship and are pretty much emasculated. They no longer defend the clear teachings of Christ but breath deeply of the Feminist error that has polluted so many religious orders.
