I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

We pray to be relieved of our wicked oppressors in government and media.

As for me, I look to the Lord for His help; I wait for God to save me; He will hear me. Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy, for though I fall, I will rise again! When I sit in darkness, the Lord Himself will be my Light. I will be patient while the Lord punishes me, for I have sinned against Him; then He will defend me from my enemies and punish them for all the evil they have done to me. Father,
So few are oriented to the grace of God. So many have made themselves their own God and have settled ever so comfortably in this world.. Self-centeredness and ego is the the focus of our current culture. It has polluted our land. More than the idiom, a "come to Jesus moment" that is needed is a literal "Jesus come to us" moment with all that entails.
