My Beloved fellow FReepers, please lift up in prayer my dear parents, who are suffering so much with various disorders and illnesses. My Dad is in terrible pain with his neck vertebrae and has Parkinson Disease, and my precious Mom has lung problems and also suffers from Pseudomonas Aureas in her sinuses. She has lost an astounding amount of weight and is very weak, but she fights as a warrior each and every day and her faith in the Lord is one to be envied by all. My dear Dad is strong in his mind, such a blessing--always learning new things from watching TV, even though he is much confined to his chair.
My Mom also has found that she has a UTI infection, which she is treating with D-Mannose. Prayers that she would receive healing in this area as well. She cannot smell or taste food, and she also has very bad acid reflux from so much coughing and strain on her chest. She needs to see her doctors, but she feels too ill to go, and it is my sister and brother-in-law's responsibility that my Mom and Dad receive care, and they have been good in that area. But my Mom needs immediate care and looks to need oxygen therapy, for I believe I'm witnessing oxygen depravation. She needs nutritional aid to help her to gain weight, so that her immune system can fight off also rheumatoid arthritis. She did not have rheumatoid arthritis until after she received a Prolia shot, which I believe severely compromised her already weak immune system and attacked her joints.
All these things are present, but I know that her, my, Our Redeemer Lives. Praise the Lord, Jesus is Returning soon, sooner that we think. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. AMEN.
Prayers sent, Patriot. Taking care of aging parents is a chance to exercise the love of Jesus.
I. will pray for you and for your parents. I know that many more will join with you today.
I send my prayers, that your parents find comfort and relief. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Praying for your dear parents.
Prayers for your parents health, Patriot.
Joining in prayer. “Where two or more are gathered”. It’s so hard. Hold on to our Lord.
Dear Lord, please deliver relief from the pains and discomforts that these dear people are experiencing due to the conditions they are currently suffering from, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
She cannot smell or taste food

A close friend only suspected (and tested positive) he had covid because he lost his sense of taste. Has your mom been tested? I’m guessing there are other reasons one loses their sense of taste, I’m just pointing this out.
Regardless, your parents certainly have my prayers.
My prayers are to have God share of my strength and have it gifted to your loved ones.
It is all I have to give, they and you are welcome.
Be at peace and know God is within you all
Deepest Respects
Ralf.
Prayers up for your family.
Please get your father to a chiropractor, preferably one who uses the “activator method.” Take him to get him out of his pain.
Re: your mother’s attempt at self treatment for the UTI: pick her up bodily and put her in the car for an appointment with a doctor. Just do it! When was the last time she had any bloodwork done? She may have a serious vit D deficiency, B-12 deficiency, etc.
DO SOMETHING! Don’t act helpless. Find out what’s wrong, and act accordingly. Better you deal with a screaming banshee of a woman who’s alive, than tell your friends, “Well, mom didn’t want to go,” at her wake. Sorry but sometimes life gets real like this.
Praying for your precious parents and you. Thank you for asking.
I’m adding your parents and family to my prayer list, Patriot.
Pinging the Prayer Warrior list keeper.
Prayers for your folks.
P.S.: a doctor can clip a device onto a finger and read how much oxygen someone is getting. Some of this stuff is that easy.
I was primary care giver for a grandparent and father-in-law. It was tough, but in hind sight something I’d not trade for the world. It taught me how to truly care for those in need...AND...appreciate the health and willingness God gave me to be able to do what no one else in my family would. Prayers to you for strength and for your parents’ strength through this difficult time.
Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Praying for them and you. I know how you feel both my parents and my wife’s aren’t doing well. God will comfort us all in our time of need.
Praying for your parents, you and all the family and those who love, care for, assist your parents in anyway.
May your parents experience many moments daily that they know God is with them always, and helping them through every single moment of the day as He always has.
May God give you and everyone else peace, help you see God has bigger things at work even through rough moments or seasons of life. Find rest, comfort, restoration in Him.
Said a prayer for them. Sorry you all are going through those kind of troubles.
