Yep.
My church has a school. We used funds to pay the teachers and staff impacted.
Wonder if they will come after us.

“...More than 400 evangelical churches received loans of at least $1 million....”
Does anyone have a list of these churches? Or where one might be able to find such a list? I’d like to review it.
FWIW, I’d be totally ashamed to call myself “Christian” and be taking government money like that. It’s just wrong on so many levels, and it sets the government up in the cats-bird seat to control that church. It also tells me they’re not led by God...they’re charlatans.

It’s the LORD’S private jet. You can’t just evangelize in a rented office space or from the back of your car or among friends and family. Saving souls requires a hefty budget for some people. Just ask the Pope.

Liberals desperately wish to tax Churches so that they can eliminate all competition against their great God, Government. Abuses by mega-churches give the demonRATs ammunition to go after ALL churches. Many Christians foolishly take the side of govt in these matters. Heck too many Christians love to enlist the govt to go after other churches as well.
I’ll wait to see the evidence of how the PPP money was dealt with. 501(c) charities put money in various pots to protect themselves. I’ll bet that Osteen has all bases legally covered.

I think Lifechurch has now taken the no. 1 spot. And yes they received several million in PPP funds, while having cash assets of over $300M.
I understand the legality and the rights of these churches to apply for these funds. Morally, I think it stinks and makes the church look bad.

Doubt it. Everyone is looking for the antiChrist, I see him in the teachers of a false Gospel.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt 10:28)

It’s time to start taxing the churches...heavily.
Our new Chinese Overlords will see that it’s done.
