The Diocese of Nice has released a statement following the knife attack in the French citys Notre Dame church this morning. Monsigneur André Marceau, Bishop of Nice, said the following:
It is with the greatest emotion that I have come to learn about the tragedy which has struck the Christian community of Alpes-Maritimes this morning. And once again the city of Nice.
As I write this, it appears that three people have been the victims of a heinous terrorist act within and around the walls of Notre Dame Basilica, days after the savage murder of the teacher Samuel Paty.
Only several weeks following devastating storm Alex, I can only feel very strongly as a result of this new drama which puts our whole diocese into mourning.
My sorrow as a human being, confronted by what other humans can do, is infinite.
At this time, all the churches in Nice are closed until further notice, and placed under police protection.
All my prayers go out to the victims, their loved ones, the law enforcement agencies on the front lines of this tragedy, priests and the faithful whose faith and hope has been wounded.
May Christs spirit of forgiveness prevail in the face of these barbaric acts.
The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, has confirmed that President Emmanuel Macron is due to visit Nice, but precise details regarding the visit were not immediately available.
Once again, submission to Islam.
Why not keep the churches open, with police protection?

This is why you never give up your weapons.

Queue the apology to Muslims by Pope Soros.
Do they have the Knights of Columbus in France?
Among the Knights’ duties is the obligation to protect cathedrals, by force if necessary, in times like these.
May Christs spirit of forgiveness prevail in the face of these barbaric acts.
The Christians continue to pray, while the Muslims continue to prey. -Tom
He (Bergoglio) prays for the victims and their loved ones, so that the violence may cease, so that we may return to look upon ourselves as brothers and sisters and not as enemies, so that the beloved people of France, united, may respond to evil with good".
May Christs spirit of forgiveness prevail in the face of these barbaric acts.
Let he who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. Jesus.

Ahh, the Religion of Piss.
Where are the Templars when you need them?
Wow
Where, indeed?
With parishioner protection?
Not a terrorist act, AN ISLAMIC ACT.

The KofC is a US based org, but I do not know if they have International Charters.
Exactly...
Is this the results of Pope Francis who refuses to condemn or confront the theology used behind such actions ??
They do, but I believe the only European country with a significant presence is Poland. Which is better positioned to deal with this already.
“...The KofC is a US based org...”
have the “Knights of Columbus” attempted to protect all these statures of Columbus from being toppled/destroyed this summer??
