France's president explicitly intends the move to stifle religious instruction of children.
October 2, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) French president Emmanuel Macron announced on Friday morning that he intends to outlaw homeschooling for all children except those who have a health condition that would justify staying away from school. He also intends to step up control on private independent schools that receive no public funds, in particular through inspections on the curricula taught there, by more severely implementing a recent law that requires such schools to teach a common core defined by a high authority for education.
The new law would come into force in the school year 20212022 for all children aged between 3 and 16. It was already under Macrons presidency that education became compulsory for tots of infant school age. With a comfortable majority at the National Assembly, the ruling La République en Marche party, which Macron led to victory in 2017, is expected to validate the draft law the government will present in accordance with the presidents wishes.
Macrons announcements were part of a series of measures aimed at fighting what he calls separatism, a strange expression he uses to designate the aims of radical Islamists who want to substitute the laws of the French Republic with sharia law. He quoted the example of a clandestine school where young Muslims were found in a plain, almost windowless room, taught by women in niqabs and learning mostly prayers and the Koran, in order to justify his wide-ranging attack against freedom of education.

Coming to a country near you, if the Commies (Hiden n Ho) steal the election.
Not my country, but that’s BS.
This is the downside of homeschooling.
How do you ‘BAN’ homeschooling?
Even if you send a kid to the public school, there is plenty of time in the week to set his head straight when he’s at home.
(If you aren’t too lazy to bother with that...)
They are trying to get a handle on the Muslims.
They actually believe they can civilize them.
Parents bear the primary responsibility for educating their children. This is both natural law and it states so in at least the catechism of the Catholic Church that this comes from God. No state can take that right away from a parent without being despotic
It is tge right of the arent t choose home education.
It is everyones God given right to pull a child out of any situation they deem detrimental to a child with the alternative of homeschooling if necessary.
Driving through beautiful Dijon one afternoon en route to visit a shrine I said to my friend, God really blessed France. They reject Him. Such a mystery.
For a moment there- Considering where the article was sandwiched. I thought the title was Francis Moves to Ban Homeschooling in 2021.
Bad idea, France. Many of your people have had enough of sending their children to your public schools, only to have them beaten up by Muslim students for not being Muslim.
More criminal government.
Pres. Marcon has no children of his own.If he did I suspect he would be less dictatorial on this topic.

Biden limit the religious rights of Muslims? Hell, no!
I think there is a country music humor song called “I’m my own Uncle!”
Seems everywhere needs a revolution against the new world orwellian states.
That is what I thought, too. I was thinking: “How can the Pope do that?”
The rulers want to turn everyone into slaves—who will only be allowed to teach their kids to think by secretly teaching them politically incorrect reading, writing, and math.
