Your opinion does not match the facts. Jesus plainly tells them they must eat His flesh and drink His blood. He even prefaces it with Amen, Amen, I say to you...He is not kidding.

I recommend you read “Honey from the Rock” compiled by Roy Schoeman. Every one of the testimonies of Jewish converts to Catholicism centers on the Eucharist. Their words are better than anything I can come up with.

It’s not their words either. It is the Holy Spirit speaking.

Strangely enough, even Martin Luther saw that the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist was something that Christians had always believed

Martin Luther believed in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. He became indignant when groups, who had followed him out of the Catholic Church, rejected the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. He deplored the fact that every milkmaid and farmhand thought they could interpret scripture correctly. Here he is in his own words.

Who, but the devil, has granted such license of wresting the words of the holy Scripture? Who ever read in the Scriptures, that my body is the same as the sign of my body? or, that is is the same as it signifies? What language in the world ever spoke so? It is only then the devil, that imposes upon us by these fanatical men. Not one of the Fathers of the Church, though so numerous, ever spoke as the Sacramentarians: not one of them ever said, It is only bread and wine; or, the body and blood of Christ is not there present.

Surely, it is not credible, nor possible, since they often speak, and repeat their sentiments, that they should never (if they thought so) not so much as once, say, or let slip these words: It is bread only; or the body of Christ is not there, especially it being of great importance, that men should not be deceived. Certainly, in so many Fathers, and in so many writings, the negative might at least be found in one of them, had they thought the body and blood of Christ were not really present: but they are all of them unanimous.”

Luther’s Collected Works, Wittenburg Edition, no. 7 p, 391

I’ll pass on your recommendation.

The facts are laid out in Scripture - I don’t need a book written a fallen-sinful man peddling his version of religion.

Take if up with Jesus Christ, these are HIS WORDS and He isn’t kidding - you’re right:

John 1:12
John 3:36
John 6:29
John 20:31
Romans 10:9-13
Acts 16:31
1 John 5:12

You are quite adamant about taking Jesus exactly at his words concerning his body and blood.

Are you equally adamant about taking Jesus exactly at his words concerning YOURS?

29 “So if your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose a part of your body than to have all of it thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand leads you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose a part of your body than to have all of it go into hell.
— St. Matthew 5:29-30

How’s your level of zeal, now?
