FATHER, we thank Dear Lord, for President Trump and Vice President Pence. We thank You that You have offered them this time to govern our people and to stand up for those things which are right. We thank You that they have heard Your Call on their lives to be an example of those who understand what it means to do what is good: To Act Justly, Love Mercy and Walk Humbly with God. We pray that You would grant them stability, wisdom, peace and success this coming election, so that our Nation may obtain additional time to repent and seek after You. Please hear our plead for Mercy against the evil that is so prevailing and beating down the doors of every part of our lives.

Dear LORD, we are before You with no pretense in our hearts, for you see all things. All of us hold some responsibility for our erring Nation and our broken families and defiant towns and cities. Search us Dear GOD, and know our hearts, test us and know our ways, see if there is any offensive ways in us; and lead us in the way everlasting - show us individually and corporately any of the high places that have not been torn down, whatever they may be. Set our hearts completely and thoroughly on You. Whatever area of our lives that we draw compromise, tear them down. Rearm us with Strength and Power and remind us that: The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Only then LORD, will we be on the path of realigning our Nation, our families and our lives back to the God of our Fathers.

We pray for those who have not even an iota of concern for things of God. How desperate is a life void of You. Their only recourse is destruction, and even worse, is that there seems to be a wretched pleasure within them in bringing down other souls to the same level of degradation and ruin. Oh God, forgive them, forgive us, have mercy on any and all victims of their evil intents and our carnal ways. Have mercy on this next generation, please.

Dear LORD, hear our prayer: Dear children, guard yourselves from idols. (1 John 5:21)

Dear Lord, I echo Jean’s words, that we would not be distracted nor divided by these troubling times, but that we would draw closer to You.

Thank You for calling us, that we may have discernment to understand these times. Fill our hearts with peace and hope, that Your Kingdom is forever.

We lift up those in rebellion, if it is Your Will, soften their hearts that they may seek Your fellowship and Your blessings.

Praying today for our President and his staff and administration, true members of the body of Christ and honorable people in authority today:

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.

For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.

If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.””

Father, we believe Your faithful promises in Psalm 91 in the name of Jesus. Amen
