Climate restoration and combatting a climate emergency are for Francis of utmost importance, he writes in a September 1 message for a World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation.
Francis is full of gloom and doom, We are running out of time and Creation is groaning. He wants to listen to the land to hear the voice of creation,
We need to do everything in our capacity to limit global average temperature rise under the threshold of 1.5°C enshrined in the Paris Climate Agreement, for going beyond that will prove catastrophic.
Francis further considers the coronavirus as a wake-up call in the face of our rampant greed and consumption. Francis knows nothing about climate science or the coronavirus but seems to be bored with proclaiming Christ.

The does not make me a proud Roman Catholic. I hope people realize the authority of the Church is not behind Francis’s opinions.
Does he ever talk about Jesus coming back?
Ironically I believe the ‘real’ Catholics have found their (our) voice in the Francis era...
I didn’t know we were supposed to have pride in our religion. We have a pope who is an atheist. The next Pope will likely be one. It is time for a bishop or Cardinal who believes like us to either attempt a coup or break off..
I am a Catholic whether the pope is a communist or the best pope there ever was. He’s just a man. He doesn’t dictate my beliefs or my decisions now and in the future...
the only folks I see apologize for their religious leader on this board are Catholics. It’s time to stop that. So the leader is a psycho atheist. We are not and that is all that matters.
Ain’t a country or a government man. It’s our belief system. That’s what counts
No. But he does talk about Jesus not being God, until His resurrection.
The latest version of the Gospel According to Marx replaces the Second Coming with the global warming apocalypse. Perhaps next Francis will change the Apostles’ Creed accordingly to, “He shall come again to judge the carbon capitalists”, since he feels free to change the Our Father, itself soon to be rewritten, “And lead us not above 1.5 Celsius.”
I’ve read the Bible and New Testament several times. No where does it mention Al Gore, drowing polar bears, hockey sticks, AOC, green new deal or carbon credits!
Looks to me like he is not very good at either one.
Needs to go polish his halo or something and try to reign in his randy priests and such.
i wish the antipope would run out of time
his Jesus isn’t the real Jesus
it’s the communist muslim Jesus
I think that’s the right mindset. I also keep going back to the back to the fact that in 2,000 years of papacy, there have been any number of bad apples. That’s just the reality of the situation. Every once in a while, by hook or crook, a knave manages to get himself elected pope. Just by chance, we happen to be living during such a time. It is what it is.
If the old pope would read the bible he’d know the Earth isn’t going to be destroyed until God allows it...
Jorge Bergoglio, the communist Jesuit who got elected Pope via the fraudulent efforts of Uncle Teddy McCarrick.
It is what it is.
What a brilliant post.
Best I’ve read in a while, especially on these “the Catholic sky” is falling threads.
Maybe we’ll have to deal with two bad news Popes before we get a good one.
My pop used to say it is what it is. GREAT expression.
But the constant “BARF ALERT” and taking shots at this dopey communist pope doesn’t ENDEAR us to other religions, some of which don’t like us much at all to begin with. It thrills them to see us demean our faith.
Why give them the satisfaction?
Meanwhile, we know what to do. That great Book God left behind precedes any organized Christian religion and gives us the path to follow.
Have a good night FRiend.
Lord, please replace the current pope with a Christian,
Amen.

Very true.
He is right about “running out of time”; the Church in the West is rapidly contracting (and it funds the Church elsewhere).
Westernism is what is running out of time. And that will hurt many people in many ways.
And the next Pope will likely be female.
