Man Of Sin About To Take World Stage

Satan, it is believed, has had a man ready to step in and fulfill the role of Antichrist at many junctures throughout history. Men such as Antiochus Epiphanes, Nero, Hitler, and other tyrants have exhibited traits ascribed to Antichrist in Bible prophecy.

Antiochus, for example, entered the Jewish Temple and defiled the altar by sloshing it with swine blood. Antichrist will, we are told by Jesus, defile the Jewish Temple in a similar way at the midpoint of the Tribulation. Hitler, for another example, persecuted the Jews in the most horrific way to that time in history, murdering some six million of God’s chosen people. Antichrist will murder many more of the House of Israel and others than did the German Führer.

He will be the vilest man ever to step foot on the earth and will take the stage for history’s final play. Considering the ramifications of the relatively minor crisis the world has recently endured, the coronavirus pandemic, the Man of Sin will bring crisis magnified many times over.

Besides the emotional devastation caused when losing immediate family members and friends, businesses will undoubtedly instantly fail because of the missing who are needed to carry on commerce and other elements of living. However, the most crushing possibility to consider is that every child below the age of accountability will be removed and taken to be with Christ at that stunning moment.

Children who have died physically were/will be instantly with the Lord. This is because they’re seen in God’s merciful economy as innocents.

Most importantly, it is an INDIVIDUAL matter—God dealing one on one, not collectively or corporately with the salvation issue. Acceptance of Christ is based upon a decision to accept or reject. Those who don’t have—and never have had—the ability to accept or reject, because they don’t have the mental capacity to understand, cannot accept or reject.

The Bible says those who know to do good and don’t do it are sinning. Conversely, the whole body of Scripture presents the case that those who don’t know they are lost because of sin are not condemned. But, when maturity that brings understanding comes (and the Holy Spirit draws them, convicting them of sin), they must accept God’s offer of reconciliation.

Paul says “all will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.” What does this mean—“all” who are “in” Christ? It refers to the fact that all who are redeemed by the shed blood of Jesus are a part of the Body of Christ—the Church. Children—even though born into sin because of Adam’s disobedience—are “in” Christ before they are able to comprehend God’s provision for salvation. No one who is “in” Christ will have to face the wrath of God during the coming Tribulation.

One area of Scripture regarding the wrath of God that addresses the position of all in Christ is found here in 1 Thessalonians:

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. (2 Thessalonians 5:9–10)

During this Age of Grace (also called the Church Age), all who are born and haven’t reached the age of understanding (thus accountability)—will go to Christ when they die. This is totally in keeping with God’s character—again, as plainly laid out in His holy love letter to mankind.

All the children who have died before they matured enough to make decisions regarding salvation are now with Christ. To God’s holy praise, that includes every one of the millions upon millions of babies this evil world system has aborted and continues to murder. This number of innocents includes every child who has been slain in wars throughout history or who has died due to other causes.

The Scripture passage that talks about one’s name being blotted out of the Lamb’s Book of Life deals with this. The names of all who are born are in that book, we believe. Children who reach the age they realize Christ is the way to salvation, but reject God’s way (John 14:6) have their names blotted out. They are written back in when salvation does occur in the only way God prescribes.

And, we’re convinced that not one child born during that horrendous, seven-year era called Great Tribulation, will ever reach that age. Thus, all children born during that time will go to be with the Lord—either upon death or during the judgments following the triumphant return of the Lord Jesus. As a matter of fact, read Jesus’ words here:

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (Matthew 24:19)

Jesus is talking here about the Tribulation era. Remember, that is the last seven years of human history before His Second Advent. The Lord mentions two age classifications: 1) children who are in the womb, and 2) those who are so young that they are still at their mothers’ breast.

There is no mention even of toddlers—i.e., those who will have been conceived or born during the Tribulation. Jesus is talking here about halfway through the seven-year period.

All children below the age of being able to make decisions on the salvation matter will go to be with Jesus when He calls (Revelation 4:1). In that stunning instant, the Creator-God of Heaven will make a statement of His opinion of abortion and when life begins!

The emotional wrenching among families—particularly, among mothers—that will take place when all children and even those not yet born are instantaneously gone is beyond our ability to imagine. There will be panic that transcends all horrors of human history.

There will be a call for answers. The fright and alarm will only grow, until the entire world will be in upheaval. Again, we believe the terror that will ensue might be wrapped up in Jesus’ description of this time:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (Luke 21:25–26)

At the same time, all the suspicions, mistrust, and hatreds among the nations will grow exponentially. This is because God, as the Restrainer of evil in this fallen sphere, will be removed. We see that prophetic truth, again, in the following prophecy by the Apostle Paul:

And now ye know what [the force of God the Holy Spirit] withholdeth that he [Antichrist] might be revealed in his [Antichrist’s] time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he [the Holy Spirit] who now letteth [restrains] will let [restrain], until he [the Holy Spirit] be taken out of the way. And then shall that wicked [Antichrist and his evil] be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. (2 Thessalonians 2:6–8)

When God’s restraining influence is removed from total governance over the evil that permeates earth, the world will again quickly fill with violence and wickedness like it was in the times of Noah. The people of earth will be in full terror mode. Nuclear weaponry will likely be used at that time, at least on a limited basis. This will create even greater panic. There will be a massive outcry for safety—and for peace.

At that time, Satan’s man, the man of sin, will gallop forth, riding on the symbolic white steed and promising world peace. Again, here is that prophecy:

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:1–2)

His vault to power will no doubt be swift and, for the most part, without resistance. The left-behind masses will be willing to place their faith in this great deceiver. Most Jews of the world will embrace this charismatic world leader as one who will bring them peace and security. Later, some of the House of Israel, maybe most, will claim him as their Messiah. Here is what Jesus foretold in this regard:

I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him. (John 5:43)

The primary purposes of the Tribulation will be for the judgment of the anti-God rebels of earth and for bringing out of the Jewish people a remnant that will constitute the nation of Israel during the Millennium, Christ’s thousand-year reign upon a restored, pristine planet earth.

In the process of bringing forth a third of the Jewish population at that time in order to repopulate earth and be part of Christ’s Kingdom and King David’s Israel, the chosen people will undergo atrocities and martyrdom unparalleled in the persecutions of history.

Once the absolute terror of the disappearance of millions around the globe substantially subsides, a completely different mindset will likely develop. Those who detest the thought of a God that governs morality and condemns sinful activity will begin to believe their Utopia can at last be achieved. The about-to-fully-emerge world leader will almost certainly let them have their heady, high-minded way—at least for a time—until he, like Hitler in pre-1933 Germany when he appeared to offer freedom of actions to the German people, becomes totally tyrannical.

The atmosphere of condemnation created by all who look down on their immorality and evil conduct now having disappeared, the hedonistic good times, absent Holy Spirit restraint, will begin in earnest. Satan’s man of sin will convince the people that they can have their cake and eat it too, to use a well-worn cliché. He will promise that they can do whatever they wish, free of guilt that they are breaking some god’s commandment. Yet, he will at the same time guarantee them complete freedom from fear that the chaos of former times will ever again bedevil their lives. He will convince one and all that he will build—with their cooperation—heaven on earth!

Fear caused by the disappearance of millions around the world will no doubt change to glee that now they have a fresh start. They’ll build a world of their own choosing. The party will begin!

The world’s great one-world thinkers and planners, led more and more by the man who will quickly become known as the greatest of all time, will come up with spectacular ideas to create the new world order. Part of that grandiose proposal will probably include a peace plan that neither the Jews of Israel nor Israel’s blood-vowed enemies will be able to refuse. Included in that plan will most likely be giving Jews permission to build a temple atop Mt. Moriah.

The plan will probably include a complete redistribution of wealth. Possibly, all the properties of those who vanished will be pooled, then divided and distributed within nations and across the world. Everyone will likely have access to computer usage, eventually, so they’ll be able to conduct business over the hybrid Internet system that will probably grow at a fantastic rate. The greatest part of this phenomenal system most likely will be the ability of each person to vote on leaders and issues electronically—a true world democracy at last achieved!

What the people won’t know, however, will be that their voting decisions will be manipulated to show results the grand schemers desire.

Here’s what I think.

Luke 14:17-21a was the initial call 2000 years ago to the Jews to whom Jesus was first called, but the Jews rejected God’s offer to “Come and dine” with him.

Verse 21b-22 has been the last 2000 years of God turning to the Gentiles who have gladly “heard him”, being the recipients of Gods love and grace.

Verse 23 is the Holy Spirt saying “There is still room”. The last worlwide sweep of God’s love and grace around the world to bring as many as will come before the unimagainable begins.

“No way it could be Biden. No way. He ain’t smart enough to count out change.”

I used to listen to an economist a few years ago on AM radio, yes I was stuck in a vehicle with no other choice. He would say when people called or wrote in to claim our last president was the Antichrist and he would say no way he’s absolutely too stupid and I agreed at that time.

Your statement reminded me of that and got me to thinking. Considering just how the world falls for every baby killing, pedophile, and homosexual idea... maybe, just maybe the Antichrist won’t be “all that” to the blind and deceived, 2 Thess 2:11. Not saying this is the case, but this sure seems to be the case for the last decade or so, just a thought.

Sometimes we just don’t have the answer, but have faith my brother and sisters whatever it is IT shall be perfect.

“But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”

The wife and I will have raised eight kids when the last ones are out of the house and the one thing I have realized is you CAN’T put any certain age of maturity on children or adults, it’s just that simple.

Yes, you know who the Man of Sin, Antichrist, Little Horn is. So did all of the Protestant Reformers. Here are the clues again for everyone else:

It will rise to be a great power after the fall of the pagan Roman Empire (after 476 AD)
It would uproot three of the ten kingdoms the Roman Empire collapsed into
It will be a geographically small nation (a little horn)
It will rule over many people, nations and tongues (it will be universal)
It will be headquartered in the city of seven hills, Rome
It will be a religio-political entity - a political city-state ruled by a priest-king
Its priest-king will make great and blasphemous claims
It will claim authority over all kings
It will claim its power to change the holy times and laws of God as its mark of authority
It will be an apostate Church that makes the nations drink her cup of apostate doctrine
It will be a “mother” Church, with apostate daughters coming from her
It will be a persecuting power, killing the faithful saints of Jesus Christ as heretics
It will hold power and authority for 1260 years following the fall of pagan Rome
It will suffer a deadly wound that will end 1260 years of dominance and persecution
It will be revived after the deadly wound, and all the world would wonder at its revival

What nine characteristics help us to identify the little horn power?

Location: out of 4th beast and among the ten horns (v.8) - The Papacy arose out of Rome among the ten tribal divisions of Rome

Timing: after the ten were established (v.8) - the Papacy became a political power by decree of the Roman emperor Justinian in AD 538 which was after the emergence of the ten tribal divisions that emerged as the Roman Empire fell apart in AD 476.

Uprooted three of the ten horns (v.8) - As the Papacy came to prominence, it influenced Pagan Roman armies to destroy three of the tribes which opposed its Christian doctrines. These three were the Vandals, Ostrogoths, and Heruli. The last of these was destroyed in AD 538 when Justinian’s decree went into effect.

Eyes and mouth of a man (v.8) - the Papacy has a man as its visible head.

Persecutes the saints (v.21, 25) - Ever hear of the Papal persecution during the dark ages - Inquisition, etc. More than 50 million Protestant Christians tortured and killed by the Catholic Church.

Different from the other ten horns (v.24) - the Papacy was a religio-political entity different from the kingdoms before it.

Speak out against God (v.8, 11, 20, 25) - Verse 8 says it will utter boastful or blasphemous things. One quote of many like it from Prompta Bibliothea Canonica Juridicia Moralis Theologica appearing in the Catholic Encyclopedia Volume VI, pp. 25-29, “The Pope is of so great dignity, and so exalted, that he is not a mere man, but as it were, God and the Vicar of God. The Pope is, as it were, God on earth, chief king of kings, having plentitude of power.”

Little Horn attempts to change God’s times and laws (v.25) - The Papacy deleted the second commandment of the Decalogue on idolatry, changed the Sabbath to Sunday in favour of sun worship and divided the tenth commandment on coveting into two parts to get back to Ten Commandments.

Have power for a time, times, and half a time (or three and a half years, forty two months, or 1260 days - see Revelation 12:6, 14) (v.25) - Applying the prophetic day for year principle established in Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6 that equals 1260 years. The Papacy lasted in primary power from AD 538 to 1798 in which year Napoleon’s general Berthier marched into Rome, deposed the Pope, and carried him into exile where he died.

The implications are profound.

Among other things it points us to our calling at such a time as this.

Arise, shine; For your light is come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness covers the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord arises on you, And His glory is seen upon you.

Isaiah 60:1-2.

We have the privilege of being part of this last end-time in-gathering just before the church is taken up and hell descends. To a degree darkness is descending but nothing like what's coming. But our focus is letting his light shine in us and on taking the true Gospel of the Grace of Christ to wherever we are sent.

Got me to thinking.
What age might that be?
What about the little Palestine kids’ songs, “I’m going to be a suicide bomber, kill infidels and pig Jews.” Maybe they don’t realize what they are saying?

The kids may not realize what they are saying but they will learn. They can't grow up to be terrorists unless they leave Israel. There are Israeli soldiers EVERYWHERE and passport checks are a regular event.

My Texas friend and I visited the Holy Land and thought that it was FABULOUS. It was on a Steve Ray Pilgrimage "In the Footsteps of Christ."

In Israel the Jews and Arabs HAVE to get along. They both love their country.

**The Israeli Mulsim Arabs are hired to do the "dirty work," that is, wash dishes, clean toilets, etc.

**The Israeli Roman Catholic Arabs are restaurant owners, tour drivers, etc., and "go-betweens" between the Jews and the Muslims.

**The Israeli Jews run the country. They partner up with the Arabs because they have to.

It's successful.

It took me a while to get the "ROMAN CATHOLIC PALESTINIAN ARABS through my brain. And, yes, I KNOW that there is no "Palestine" but that is what they call themselves so that is what the Jews and Muslims call them.

Oh I keep saying that at Church... do you know how many believers and prophets wanted to see what we are seeing right now? We are at a point in the age of grace that is amazing.

I do believe that most of us will not die, but will meet our Lord in the air what a wonderful site that will be.
