The Navy has locked down, hard, much more so than they Army and Air Force. Probably because of the experience with the Roosevelt crew and that Navy crews end up in unavoidable close quarters.

The Navy can’t dictate what family members choose to do.

When we’d visit a foreign port, you could bet your next paycheck a majority of the crew would be in the ‘off-limits’ areas. The briefers would provide us with maps showing where we couldn’t go; that was brilliant.

They have mass on base and all carriers. Also, most of us can’t go to mass either. My family have been watching on Facebook every week. One of my classmates from high school is a priest and has mass everyday in fact.

This is happening under Trump.

I NEED to know...who told Trump to hire Tillerson, Kelly, Mattis and SESSIONS? I NEED to know that person's name...

“In an information dispatch last week, “indoor religious services” are on a list of off-base places and gatherings that Navy members are prohibited from attending.”

So they are allowed to leave the base. Are people going to follow them everywhere they go? I would go to church anyway and say screw the insubordinate leadership. After all the top brass set the precedent when they disobeyed the CIC.

Will there be any sailors who dare disobey an order and get a court martial? BTW, in Olonapo Mass was off base. We didn’t have a Catholic chaplain on board Princeton.
