Cleanse us, Lord, and make in us clean hearts. You have given us free will to reject you or to choose you as our Lord and Savior, but we ask you, Father God, to remove scales from eyes, soften hard hearts, and open ears of those who are choosing evil wicked ways. Lift the veil of darkness and let them see the light we pray.”

Some days Your saints, O Lord, are exhausted by the swift-moving, swirling vortex of lies, propaganda, fake news, the deliberate pouring of fuel onto the disordered passions of unsaved souls by wicked men, the seething hatred, destruction, confusion, and other evils. But You O Lord are eternally unchanging. You are above the universe. The earth is Your footstool. There is nothing that happens without You. All things, even evil, are used for Your purposes. In You alone is our faith and we thank-you that You Are, that You hear our prayers and petitions. So we humbly ask You O Lord to give Your children, President Trump, VP Pence, AG Barr, and all people of good-will peace in the midst of chaos, assurance in the midst of darkness, and safety as we go out and about in these evil days.
