I think his ancient atheist non-note-taking Italian journalist friend says everyone who knows Bergoglio well knows that he believes that Jesus set aside his divinity upon the occasion of his incarnation (a.k.a. “the Annunciation” by the Archangel Gabriel, which was the moment in time the Blessed Virgin Mary was made pregnant with Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit) and didn’t pick it back up again until the third day after his death, when the time came for his Resurrection from the Dead. The fact that this notion is impossibly heretical, utterly anti-Catholic, does not faze said journalist friend. The Vatican stays largely silent, giving credence to the claim.
