The pre-Trib rap story - is it from Satan?
Think about it. If you make people believe that Jesus could come back at any time, and they must keep themselves ready for the event, then they are strengthened as a result.
Can we "major on the majors" and agree salvation is by faith alone through Christ alone?
(Awww, talk about a kill-joy....)
If you cause people to not realize that there is a pre-trib rapture, not only will they go through unnecessary suffering, but they will not do the work to achieve it as they won’t think it is possible.
Some people just are slow learners and need a whipping to motivate them to awaken!
What cult does this guy belong to?
The creation of the entire pre-Trib rapturist 19th century belief system — as the author points out — is Satanic in nature.
The Pre-Trib tries to deny Christ’s words and also distort’s Daniel who very clearly prophesises the time up to Christ — Christ is the rock uncut by human hands that shatters the iron-clay Roman Empire.
Then the uncut rock becomes a mountain that covers the entire earth - Christianity.
Daniel’s prophecy very clearly, very, very clearly talks about the THEN coming destruction of Jerusalem after it was rebuilt.
The 70 odd years from Christ’s birth to the destruction of the 2nd Temple, the 40 years (one generation) from the time Jesus says “THIS generation “ will see the destruction of the temple.
Doesn’t matter when it happens. God has the best plan for me & I’m willing to trust His judgement about the best time to call me home. It doesn’t matter if I’m “Pre-Trib” or “Post-Trib”. It only matters that I’m faithful!!!
Probably the Christian one - meaning the one that rejects the Scofield non-Christian pre-Trib rap belief
Does the Catholic Church believe in pre or post tribulation rapture?
understanding the pre trib rapture enhanced my faith. I was already saved but in an amillenial church I was taught that Christ would return someday. it Revelation was poetic language and unknowable.
Studying prophecy and understanding that most of what is shown in revelation pulls from and enhances the OT prophets has added a level of excitement and anticipation to my faith that wasnt there before. Like most I was uneasy to afraid of the end times and the prophecies in revelation. Now that I understand more I cant wait! Remember Paul said comfort one another with these words not scare the living stink out of each other with these words.
Seeing prophecy fulfilled in current times (ezekiels dry bones etc) and Israel back in the land is an amazing experience . I totally trust God and His plan but it is wonderful that He has told us ahead of time what will happen. If i am wrong and the rapture is not pre trib it will not shake my faith, God is in control. But meanwhile the sense of anticipation and excitement over the skin return of Jesus Christ is what keeps me going some days. And yes i think it will be soon but even if not remember that all if us will meet Jesus in the next 80 years or so no matter when He returns.
At almost 60 I have maybe 30-40 years max til I meet my savior face to face no matter what. Until then I will be looking up with great anticipation!
Maranatha
As I understand the words of Christ and the Bible, we will only be rescued at the Second Coming. The fullness of sin must be shown, including many of us being martyred, so nobody questions God as to why faithful obedience is necessary.
the catholic church is amillenial and does not teach a tribulation or millennial reign
I know a pastor that claims to be pan-trib...It all pans out in the end ";^)
thanks
Belief in a pre-tribulational rapture . . . contradicts all three chapters in the New Testament that mention the tribulation and the rapture together (Mark 13:2427; Matt. 24:2631; 2 Thess. 2:112). . . . The theory is so biblically bankrupt that the usual defense is made using three passages that do not even mention a tribulation (John 14:3; 1 Thess. 4:17; 1 Cor. 15:52). These are important passages, but they have not had one word to say about a pre-tribulational rapture. . . . Pre-tribulationism is biblically bankrupt and does not know it (The Word of Truth, 5567).
I actually do believe that it is the biggest threat to Christians. I believe the greatest threat to those that could be brought into the fold is the teaching of Eternal Conscious Torment (ECT) for the lost. That one is the one I fight the most.

The purpose of Daniel's Seventieth Week has nothing at all to do or say about the suffering of the Church of this dispensation. The Tribulation has to do with DANIEL's people, ISRAEL, and the City where Jehovah has chosen to place His Name.
You are absolutely correct!
I have been convinced of this for many years.
People in the Churches do not see what the Bible clearly says about this.
They are not going to be prepared and are going to find themselves in something that they will not be able to handle. What the results of this will be I do not know.
