In August of 2001 the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) estabalished a "Full Communion Partnership" with The Episcopal Church through the adoption of "Called to Common Mission".

Therefore:

Lutheran (EL C S*A) Ping!

* as of August 19, AD 2009, a liberal protestant SECT, not part of the holy, catholic and apostolic CHURCH.

Jesus says, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples.”

And Jesus will tell them, “I never knew you.”

I am bugged by the use of the word “gay”. Aren’t this reporters and clergy able to use the proper term “homosexual?”

Don’t water down your religion — tell the truth.

That’s one of the reasons I’ve always looked at Episcopalians and just shrugged.

You can’t be a ‘cafe Christian’ and pick out the laws of God that you like and throw out the rest.

John 16:7 Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as a He.

Why do these ‘Christian’ churches mess around with God’s preferred pronouns. Should we start calling God Cis, xyr, ect?

Maybe we should stick to revelation and not mess it all up with our own imagination.

How is "the Lord, the giver of life," a "she"? Isn't "kyrie" masculine?

But the nimrodism is strong in this one.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Who with the Father and the Son, She is worshiped and glorified. She has spoken through the Prophets.”

"Who with the Father and the son, She is worshiped and glorfied." That's just poor English. There should be a comma before "who", not a period, and the relative pronoun makes any kind of subject, much less "she", unnecessary and incorrect. Put a comma after "glorfied" and then follow it with "who", and the need for "she" or any other subject word is also unnecessary and incorrect.

A better rendering, and one that doesn't open the door to clerical mischief, is

..."the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, show proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and is Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken by the prophets."

That is the version we use in my church, minus the filioque.

When words can amen anything, they can also mean nothing.

Male and female anatomical parts are made to fit together to procreate. Make babies, in other words.

God has no need for these ‘parts’. Really, God is neither male nor female.

Interesting about the bishop who is in trouble for not allowing same-sex “marriage” ceremonies. The progressives always start by saying that they just want to be included and they will respect the rights of those who disagree. But the minute the progressives get into power, they demand full control and they won’t tolerate anyone who disagrees with them about anything.

The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God,
    the Father, the Almighty,
    maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
    the only Son of God,
    eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
    true God from true God,
    begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
        he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
        and was made man.
    For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
            in accordance with the Scriptures;
        he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Surrender a place in Paradise to Support a lifestyle that leads to an eternity of suffering and anguish.

Like unruly children that rebel against parents, homosexuals and those that support them are religious brats.
