Formed by a bunch of men walking around in long dresses. Some with funny hats.
Modesty. Its not taught anymore.
I may sometimes wear my nurse scrubs out at 11 pm to get milk or a sandwhich .so I guess I need more clarification. Would you rather them all be in lab coats?
Exactly. It is rare to find immodest dress at the Latin Mass. When the “mass” was dumbed down, why is anyone surprised that the dress follows suit.
Actually, I think the tweet and meaning behind were far more tempered than what the priest was actually saying.
I seem to think if a priest has to ask you to “cover your shoulders” there may be more hanging out than just your shoulders.
Yes, this is a priest...but he is also a guy. Being a priest doesn’t mean he is immune from temptation(s). And I think it is quite humbling that he asked for a bit more decorum from the pew! And if the priest needed to ask a woman to cover-up, I wonder how many men were gawking as well?
Every summer our church has to go through a short reminder to people in attendance and encourage them to dress appropriately.
....At the same time, make sure there is the AC on Father!
The Catholic Church is God’s house.
Don’t dress like a whore.
End of discussion.
And also make sure your church has AC!

wow Stepford wives in force, let em show cleavage, God made it too, take it a little farther and Islam rears it’s ugly head
Scrubs are 100% appropriate for any doctor, nurse, or tech. I am referring to doctors who wear yoga pants, nurses and techs with shirts that show part of their breasts etc.
The only effect this will have is less people showing up to services. Which means less money. Not that the church needs more money.
The one thing that has always annoyed me about the scrubs is that I see doctors and nurses wearing them everywhere. Isnt the whole point of scrubs that they are supposed to be clean? I see doctors and nurses dropping and picking their kids up from school in the scrubs, going out to get lunch in their scrubs, driving to and from work in the scrubs. Doesnt that defeat the purpose?
Preach it, sister.
It's still possible to dress lightly and modestly.
If you want to wear shorts, fine, just don't make them so short that you have to powder another set of cheeks, and so tight that your thong underwear is showing (Sadly seen both in church).
Nor is there any need to wear a top you have to keep yanking up cause it's falling off or you keep popping out of.
Correct - not their job to protect us...although I have been known to ‘carefully look over” some who dress provocatively....the occasional one who gets pissed is greeted with a smile and a statement that if they are gonna display it, they have to expect folks to look at it...
Actual conversation at a Starbucks:
“What are you looking at, pervert?”
“Your tattoo. That’s why you got it, isn’t it?”
Yet they cover them to go to a mosque
Well that clarifies it...agree very inappropriate...sounds like a combo doctor’s off and Antifa hipster psycho starbucks shop!
A lot of people seem to have the opinion “they’re lucky I’m even coming to this church”.
