LONDON, February 25, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — A viral video depicts a street preacher facing arrest in England for supposed “racism” as he shares the Gospel.
Now shared more than two million times, the video shows the exchange between the as-yet-unidentified preacher and two police officers. Beginning in mid-conversation, the preacher told the two officers, "I can be arrested if you want." The preacher told an officer, “Give your life to the Lord, Jesus Christ.” When one of the officers asked him what he was doing, the preacher responded, "I am preaching."
The officer in the video told the man "I'm going to require you to go away." When the preacher told officers he would not leave, the officers informed him that he will be arrested for breach of peace. In response, the preacher proclaimed, "I will not go away because I need to tell them the truth. Because Jesus is the only way, the truth — because Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life." To this, the officer replied: "I appreciate that, but nobody wants to listen to that."
"You don't want to listen to that? You will listen when you are dead," the preacher says. It is then that the officers cuffed the preacher and seized his Bible. When the man asked the officers not to take his Bible, the other officer retorts, "You should have thought about that before being racist."
While it is not clear what the man was preaching before the camera began to roll, the Twitter account that posted the video, Eye on Antisemitism, claimed that police told him he had been accused of Islamophobia. Eye on Antisemitism wrote that just before the incident unfolded, the preacher had been engaged in a debate with a Muslim man that became heated. According to.....

Not to mention the country of Cranmer, Wesley, Newman, Lewis, et al. The country of the King James Bible. The country of the Book of Common Prayer. The country that once produced devout and talented hymnists.
Nah, America’s always been different.
We are seeing actual change and the majority voted in a man that wants the west to be GREAT.
W. Europe? Yes.
And now a generation of conservative judges.
And the voters added seats to the senate for us knowing that it would ensure a slew of conservative judges and likely a generation of a conservative SC.
NONE of this is happening in W Europe.
NO nationalist group is getting 54 percent of the vote (The number I figure Trump received after taking into account 5 million illegals voting).
Maybe mid 20s even, but not nearly enough to change their trajectory.
WE still have hope.

There is no such thing as “Islamophobia”. Seeing that in any non-ironic context lets one know they are dealing with a loon deserving of 9 grams to the cerebellum.
9 grams or 124 grains (8.04 grams) in a 9 mm package?
He got into a debate with a Muslim.
He might have been harsh, or insulting, or merely insisted that there is no salvation in Islam.
The Muslim supposedly called the Bible “s-—.”
But the preacher is the one inciting hatred and breaching the peace, because the Muslims are the ones who will get violent.
I remember someone ranting away in Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park when I visited London 35 years ago. I think you could say just about anything then.
And to add to the apparent irony, the ‘street preacher’ arrested for being a racist... appears to be black.
Especially since the preacher was black, and Islam (it was said a Muslim had debated him and denigrated the Bible) is not a race.
It’s really a tragedy, because British Christianity was once a huge gift to the world. I used to be Methodist. The old Methodist services I grew up with were based on the Book of Common Prayer. Years ago I was acquainted with some people from an Arabic Orthodox Christian congregation in Spring Valley, IL. A hundred years ago, the priest of that church made the first translation of their services from Arabic into English, and he used the language and style of the Book of Common Prayer as his model.
The influence of the King James Bible on the English language and its literature is beyond measure. All of our great British and American writers read it, and you see allusions to the biblical phrases and stories everywhere, even if the writer couldn’t be said to have been a great believer. I’ve listened to songs from Pete Seeger and even John Mellencamp and heard something that makes me think, “he’s read at least some of the Bible.” I like the old hymns from such as hymnists as Isaac Watts and Charles Wesley, products of a profound spirituality, and the Anglican chants of the Psalms are, to me, the sounds of heaven.
I just don’t understand how the British have abandoned that heritage. They’re not alone, of course, among the Europeans, but as an American and something of an Anglophile, the British abandonment hits me the hardest.
