Bettnet ^ | February 24th, 2006 | Domenico Bettinelli

Posted on 02/21/2019 8:15:32 AM PST by Mrs. Don-o

The following 12 quotes come from the writings of St. Peter Damian, a great ascetic and monk who was especially troubled by the clergy and religious of his time who failed in their duties, especially celibacy.

Think of them as a year of monthly intentions for the US bishops to meditate upon in reparation for the Scandal:

**gay is now a must for all priests in the Roman Church**

This is not true.

The word “all” means every priest, and that just isn’t true.

If Rome would simply obey Scripture alone, this epidemic would be routed out. They do not. They are suffering what they created. Yet they still have not solved their homosexual problem.

Instead, Rome coddles gays, giving them a nest in the Vatican, protects them from exposure, and enabled buggery - worldwide, and under at least 5 popes.

Yet Romans continue to minimize this and fail to tell the truth.

All progress starts with telling the truth.

If ever there was a corrupt organization engaged in criminal racketeering, it is Catholicism.

"If ever there was a corrupt organization engaged in criminal racketeering, it is Catholicism."

Amend that to "the Francis-curia" or something congruent to that, and I'll sign on.

These Judas Priests are not "Catholicism." They are the Enemy's controlled demolition team, ones betraying Catholicism.

Please do not let Judas block your entire field of vision, so you don't see the Christifideles --- the Faithful of Christ --- who have always been here, and will always be here til Christ comes again..

Dear Mrs. Don-o...sometimes it seems you minimize the reality of catholicism.

Howso?

The vatican is 80% gay. They are knowingly allowed to be gay and still serve in the Vatican. Under many popes - probably all the popes of your lifetime - the vatican has allowed homosexuality to flourish. This is well known in Rome, where the sex parties are written about in local papers.

The priesthood isn't confined to a small number of gay priests. All credible estimates are above 25% of Catholic priests are gay. If there are 400,000 catholic priests, you have 100,000-140,000 gay priests. It is an abomination.

It is bad enough that Rome perverted the Gospel of grace. This alone calls any connection to Christ into question.

The buggering of children and the leadership of catholicism covering it up is an equal blight.

MDO, let me try again, using your own argument...

These Judas Priests are not "Catholicism." They are the Enemy's controlled demolition team, ones betraying Catholicism.

If there are Judas Priests, how many are there?
If you mean gay priests, the answer in the parishes seems to range from 20-35%.
If there are Judas Priests, they are well known by bishops, cardinals and the pope.
These leaders are the ones who received complaints, shuffled around offenders, protected the assets of dioceses from lawsuits, etc.
If they are known, the only conclusion you can possibly draw is that the leadership of catholicism ALLOWS them to continue on, or they would be defrocked now.

But the evidence is that Rome not only knows there are gays everywhere, but it allows gays to serve in Rome at the Vatican - 80% gay.
This is not a new development in Rome.

Nor is it a new development worldwide, as the child buggering has occurred under at least 5 popes.

Please do not let Judas block your entire field of vision, so you don't see the Christifideles --- the Faithful of Christ --- who have always been here, and will always be here til Christ comes again..

There are not a handful of Judas priests. Catholicism has a Judas leadership from the Pope down. Gays from the Vatican down.

I would kindly respond to you...

Come out from among them and be holy, says the Lord.

Don't minimize the corruption and perversity.

Thank you, aMPU, for starting out with the actual quote.

Re-read, please.

"Amend that to "the Francis-curia" or something congruent to that, and I'll sign on. These Judas Priests are not "Catholicism."

I didn't say it was only the Francis-Curia, but also the acres of rot in the Church which are "congruent" to that. The people I did defend, and hope I will alsways defend, are the faithful of Catholicism, the Christifideles faithful to Christ --- keeping in mind that the Church is not the Body of the Pope. Te Church is ---as you know ---the Body of Christ.

Today, February 22, on the Catholic Liturgical Calendar, is the Feast of the Chair ("Cathedra") of Peter. Our pastor, Fr. Pete (coincidence), in his homily for the 8:30 Mass, pointed out that Peter is called "rock" in two senses: as the "Cephas" who makes a God-inspired confession of true faith (as in Matthew 16:18) and, immediately afterward, as a "stumbling-block" (Matthew 16:23) who tries, like Satan, to argue against Christ accepting suffering and death, which is our salvation!

Fr. Pete said we often have reason to wish that we didn't have successors of Peter who

Sometimes Peter's clearly in the wrong, and has to be confronted to his face.

Is this news to you? It's not news to the Catholic Church.

The biggest mistake would be, I think, not staying at the foot of the Cross (with John and Mary) and instead heading for the tall grass. We don't forget that the first time the Apostles (predecessors of the Bishops) are recorded as acting "collegially," was here: "Then all of the disciples left Him and fled." (Matthew 26:56)

Not time to leave.

Time to build up the Church. Time to gather to the foot of the Cross, and pray.

In all likelihood, the homosexuals are a lot more prevalent in that one walled neighborhood of Rome, than at the parish level.

One thing that keeps coming back to me is this quote from the gay-enthusiasts at the New York Times (in their recent article about those wistful affectionate old fellows --- ahem ---"clericalizing" each other in the rectories):

"The stories of gay priests are unspoken, veiled from the outside world, known only to one another, if they are known at all."

If they're so very-very closeted and so very-very privacy-loving and so very-very secret, how credible are Frederic Martel --- author of the latest sin-sation, "In the Closet of the Vatican" --- and of course including the New York Times) who claim to KNOW ALL ABOUT IT?

Not to minimize the problem of gay clergy--- and it's huge and horrid --- I still maintain the reasonable caveat that LGBT advocates aren't the most dispassionate, credible sources. Duh.

For a credible view, read this:

"Frederic Martel's Bitch-Fest">Rod Dreher, The American Conservative, February 20, 2019)

The Daily Gaydar Report ("News Flash: Abraham Lincoln was Gay!") still 15% information and 85% insinuation.

That's not blinkers and rose-colored glasses, BTW: because if even 10% of it is credible, what we're witnessing is a hostile takeover strategy in real time.

It is past time to leave. It isn't about a church. It is about Him. Follow Him.

Or it may be that gay priests will only feel secure talking freely with another gay, since they share the same identity and life view.

But to deny it in the face of supporting evidence, is short-sighted.

To deny "it"? You mean 80% chatty-cathy LGBT at the Vatican? Propaganda. As Abraham Lincoln said on the Internet.

I worry more about the silence. Who's speaking out? Burke. Athanasius Schneider. Brandmüller. Mueller, on and off, when he locates his backbone.

Strickland, somewhere way out there in the middle of the sagebrush in Texas, and Gacida, retired, Corpus Christi. Yay Texas.

There should be dozens, hundreds of them bellowing like Savonarola by now. The silence is heart-crushing.

Reread Revelation's opening chapters. Take time to think.

I will not leave Him.

He is not Rome. I left Rome and came to Him. Best decision of my life. Eternal life, assurance of salvation, personal relationship, etc. And as a bonus, left behind the Roman Hamster Wheel of false works and guilt.
