I see no sin in a celibate relationship. I still say, however, that if a man is romantically attracted to another man, or woman to woman, that somewhere, something has gone wrong.
I would agree that something has gone wrong.
But, alas, we all have a sinful nature. Something goes wrong for each of us to some degree. But I don’t want to skirt the main issue — I believe that homosexuality is a mental illness. It’s not normal. It’s not OK. The people should try to form more normal bonds of love, and if they cannot do that, they should at least refrain from sinful sexual practices.
What happened to the “higher standard” that goes beyond the laws of the Jews?
I'm not contesting your statement, but what about a married man who is attracted to other women? Has something gone wrong that is different than with homosexuals?
