Lord, we thank You for the gifts of the Spirit, especially for the gift of discernment. We thank You, Lord, for discernment which allows us to see through the propaganda, to discard the fake news, and to know that You are the way, the truth and the life. Oh Lord, we pray for those who have rejected You, and as a consequence, do not share the gift of discernment. Lord, You have allowed them to be wrapped in a fog of confusion and to believe the lie.
Oh Lord, if it is Your Will, humble those in rebellion, that they will no longer reject You, but will embrace Your divine precepts and will seek restoration with You. Oh Lord, soften their stone hearts, that they may celebrate the joy to be called a child of God, that they may no longer abide in that which is evil, and that they will rejoice that, in mercy, You have appointed Donald Trump to be our President, for such a time as this. Father God, we thank You for President Trump, his family, his Cabinet, for our first responders, our warriors, and all those who seek to Make America Great Again, One Nation Under God.
In Christs name we do pray
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment
Philippians 1:9
Amen!!!
And this prayer I am led to repeat for us to pray to deal with our domestic enemies:
Psalm 94
[1] O LORD, thou God of vengeance,
thou God of vengeance, shine forth!
[2] Rise up, O judge of the earth;
render to the proud their deserts!
[3] O LORD, how long shall the wicked,
how long shall the wicked exult?
[4] They pour out their arrogant words,
they boast, all the evildoers.
[5] They crush thy people, O LORD,
and afflict thy heritage.
[6] They slay the widow and the sojourner,
and murder the fatherless;
[7] and they say, The LORD does not see;
the God of Jacob does not perceive.
[8] Understand, O dullest of the people!
Fools, when will you be wise?
[9] He who planted the ear, does he not hear?
He who formed the eye, does he not see?
[10] He who chastens the nations, does he not chastise?
He who teaches men knowledge,
[11] the LORD, knows the thoughts of man,
that they are but a breath.
[12] Blessed is the man whom thou dost chasten, O LORD,
and whom thou dost teach out of thy law
[13] to give him respite from days of trouble,
until a pit is dug for the wicked.
[14] For the LORD will not forsake his people;
he will not abandon his heritage;
[15] for justice will return to the righteous,
and all the upright in heart will follow it.
[16] Who rises up for me against the wicked?
Who stands up for me against evildoers?
[17] If the LORD had not been my help,
my soul would soon have dwelt in the land of silence.
[18] When I thought, My foot slips,
thy steadfast love, O LORD, held me up.
[19] When the cares of my heart are many,
thy consolations cheer my soul.
[20] Can wicked rulers be allied with thee,
who frame mischief by statute?
[21] They band together against the life of the righteous,
and condemn the innocent to death.
[22] But the LORD has become my stronghold,
and my God the rock of my refuge.
[23] He will bring back on them their iniquity
and wipe them out for their wickedness;
the LORD our God will wipe them out.
Amen
Amen
Amen.
Amen
Amen and continuing along in prayer with you all
Thank you for posting. There are hard words here, but needful ones.
It is a fearsome thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God... His judgments are righteous altogether. And where would we be without the mercy and grace of the Lord? Our hearts are desperately wicked. This, He knows, yet He shows us patience.
In our folly we cannot rule our own hearts. We must confess our sin and be cleansed. We judge ourselves.
He forgives us. Such amazing grace.
Yet there is a time for vengeance. But it belongs to the Lord and He will repay. He will deliver.
...the innocent blood cries out from the ground. Our nation has committed great sin. We lift our sorrow to Heaven. Renew our hearts and settle our minds. Set us aright.
+++++++
We have enemies all around that would crush our faith without regret.
They wish to eradicate God.
But, they cannot. For He is their creator and knows the beginning from the end.
He will repay and He will show mercy on whom he will. For He is God and there is none other like Him.
Praise the Lord! May His glorious works be known in the earth.
Pray for Gods justice... for when we see that, we can rejoic
Amen to your anointed prayer, Dear SisterK. It touched my heart in a special way, and helped explain why some people believe “fake news” and can’t see the truth. This has been a particularly frustrating issue for me, as I have family and friends who hate our President for no reason. Thank you for YOUR discernment in posting this very astute and relevant prayer. (((HUGS)))
Amen and thank you.
Prayers
Amen and God bless.
Hugs back to you, sister in Christ.
Amen
I also had been perplexed that so many “intelligent” people are blind to what is plain and simple to us. Their rebellion to our Father God denies them other fruits of the Spirit, such as joy...
We continue to pray that they will seek a relationship with the only true and living God.
God bless
Awesome post.
Amen
Prayers for our domestic enemies - that they would repent, cease working for the enemy or face certain destruction.
James 3:17
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
Amen, SisterK
