Heavenly Father –

We praise You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers. Though we don’t often see Your hand in our affairs, we are confident You are continually working in this dark world for Your glory.

We confess we have failed to seek Your guidance. Forgive our lack of faith. Forgive our disobedience of Your commandments—by commission or omission. And this coming Veterans Day, forgive our ungratefulness for all those who have sacrificed and are sacrificing to serve others and keep us safe, home and abroad.

This November 11th, may we pause to remember the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day (now known as Veteran’s Day)
, which ended World War One on the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th hour.

May we soldier on and be inspired by the words of World War I hero Sergeant Alvin York:

During our evil days, may we, as a nation, choose to fear God, not man.

And cling to this promise:

Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

We lift up all our leaders, Lord. And especially protect President Trump. Fill him with Your Spirit. Grant him Your Wisdom. Give him courage, discernment, and strength. Deliver him from the treachery of the enemy within.

Likewise, protect all those under attack of the mobs. Lifting up Tucker Carlson and his family and friends. As well as others who dare to speak the truth.

As the dust of the 2018 mid-term elections settles, may Providence turn the hearts of our representatives and senators to do Your will. Frustrate all the attempts of voter fraud and meddling in the close races. Especially in Florida and Arizona.

Through the power of Your Spirit, may we become the nation You want us to be.

Thank You for the brave men and women in uniform who selflessly fought to establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

Thank You for Christian men and women who fought the GOOD FIGHT against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
