I have just been diagnosed with uterine cancer. I will be having surgery soon to remove the uterus. Fortunately,I have been told it is stage one cancer (one of three). I welcome the prayers of all.

Hello, just wanted to thank all of your for your prayers for me and my uterine cancer. I had my surgery yesterday and am already home from the hospital! The surgery went very well according to the doctor. I have to wait a week to get the final pathology report.....so if you are able.....please pray that that report shows the lymph nodes are clear.

Survivor. When I was diagnosed my doctor said to me: If you were going to get a cancer, this is the cancer to get!

You are going to do amazing. Have a pillow to hold yourself when you go home from the hospital, and allow plenty of recovery time. Time from diagnosis to cancer free is extremely fast, and our minds have a bit of a problem dealing with the emotions as well as medical menopause if you were pre-menopause.

I am fortunate in that I am post-menopause. Thanks for the advice on the pillow. Someone at the hospital told me the same thing.
