They’re still looking for motive...right?
So when is somebody going to paint John 3:16 on the side of the Mecca box they all march around?
Feral descendants of the Hundred Year’s War with England.
Two likely motives. The obvious one, and arson staged to look like the obvious one.
They just can’t live and let live.

No, they really can’t.
Their religious obligation is the subjugation, conversion or death of everyone one else on the planet.
Mad Mo made it so.
The headline should have gone on to say: “... authorities immediately bulldozed the nearest twenty mosques and deported 5,000 Muslims in response.”
“and the brave men who died in WWII saving france for a second time are rolling in their graves to think they died for this... “
Very well said. The French will have to save themselves this time.
The French have not been particularly religious since 1789 or so. I doubt this would annoy them enough to cause anyone to drop their cheese or spill their wine.
To put it in context, I’m sure that fewer French people care about this than people in the US care about destroying Confederate or other historical statues. And as we’ve seen, that’s pretty much nobody.
