AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL (July 14, 2018) (prayer)

Lord Father in heaven, we humble ourselves before You, and pray for your continued guidance as you watch over us. As we enter another day in this world of confusion and hate, we pray for Your wisdom to guide the Leaders of this great nation. Lord, many say that You sent us a leader in the mold of Cyrus, and that may be so, but I look at the record and see the accomplishments and how the world is treating our President, and I see a man in the mold of Ronald Reagan. Like those who oppose President Trump in America, so too are the same people opposing him in Europe. Dear Lord, make and keep him strong so he can do the things needed to make, not just America great again, but America respected again.

Lord, whether it be our President, the soldiers fighting overseas, or the local police and firemen in our communities, we pray for your protection to keep them safe and guide them in the jobs they have taken on. Many of use have put our own lives at risk in so many ways to defend and protect the citizens of this country which You have blessed our founding fathers with creating. Some have troubles we must live with for our sacrifice. Some cane be seen, others are deep scars that cannot be seen, and for all the scars hidden and visible, I pray for your comfort and healing in their life.

In this world we there are many pitfalls, and but for Your grace we could be the ones that befall great tragedy in so many ways. We know the evil one is constantly scheming as he crouches at our door awaiting for us to stumble and fall, but we know you are near. We cannot see you, nor can we physically touch you, but we know that you are watching over and protecting us. Lord our Father, forgive us for being so selfish at times as we only think of our own trials and tribulations. Lord we ask that you open our eyes, so that we can see how insignificant our own troubles are compared to others around us.

Lord, our Father in heaven, we pray for and more, in Jesus name, Amen


Psalm 7 1 O LORD my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me, 2 Lest they tear me like a lion, Rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver. 3 O LORD my God, if I have done this: If there is iniquity in my hands, 4 If I have repaid evil to him who was at peace with me, Or have plundered my enemy without cause, 5 Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me; Yes, let him trample my life to the earth, And lay my honor in the dust.Selah 6 Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded! 7 So the congregation of the peoples shall surround You; For their sakes, therefore, return on high. 8 The LORD shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me. 9 Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds. 10 My defense is of God, Who saves the upright in heart. 11 God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. 12 If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. 13 He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts. 14 Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made. 16 His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown. 17 I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
