Father God, we rejoice in our salvation. You are so good to us not only in providing eternal life, but also an abundant life in the here and now. How great You are—how merciful, gracious, kind and patient.

We are, by Your command, here to pray in the power of unity for this Great Nation You established. This is a great honor and privilege.

Specifically, Father, we pray for the family units in our country. We want men and women to take the rightful place You established to provide a foundation for our future. We pray for a return to women honoring their husbands and rejoicing in the job of motherhood, men caring for their wives as Christ does the church, children understanding You and knowing they are loved. Men and women are to be united as pairs (one of each) forsaking all others. May women again understand the power and protection of chastity. Father, our people have been deceived. You tell us about people being given over to depraved minds. We ask for mercy. By Your Spirit reveal identity and wholeness in You.

We ask for Pastors to teach proper family organization—without compromise. We ask for airwaves to be re-filled with Truth, movies and TV shows that depict godly relationships and a respect for men. Wake up men to take their rightful authority and leadership. We pray that our judicial system would judge rightly when marriages cannot be saved.

For those now single or with broken families, reveal the churches to which You have assigned them so that they can become complete In Your family. For those families united in You, we ask that all would be quick to forgive and slow to speak by Your love spread abroad in their hearts.

May Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think. We thank You for showing us Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

HOLY FATHER, Your children made by You and in Your image,
have lost their sense of purpose. We pray that they, with
Your direction, will find their Purpose in life;
and in doing so will be successful in filling their empty shells
with Your light and the days with Your plans for them
unfolding and understood. FATHER, we are not perfect
children and we ask Your forgiveness for our
deficiencies.

Restore the family unit: father, mother, children. So goes the family, so goes the nation.

We stand on Your Promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive them and heal their land.

Pour out Your SPIRIT upon us, LORD.
