Who believes what weve heard and seen? Who would have thought Gods saving power would look like this?
The Servant grew up before Goda scrawny seedling, a scrubby plant in a parched field. There was nothing attractive about Him, nothing to cause us to take a second look. He was looked down on and passed over, a Man who suffered, Who knew pain firsthand. One look at Him and people turned away. We looked down on Him, thought He was scum. But the fact is, it was our pains He carried our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought He brought it on Himself, that God was punishing Him for His own failures. But it was our sins that did that to Him, that ripped and tore and crushed Himour sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through His bruises we get healed. Were all like sheep whove wandered off and gotten lost. Weve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And God has piled all our sins, everything weve done wrong, on Him, on Him.
He was beaten, He was tortured, Hut he didnt say a word. Like a lamb taken to be slaughtered and like a sheep being sheared, He took it all in silence. Justice miscarried, and He was led off and did anyone really know what was happening? He died without a thought for His own welfare, beaten bloody for the sins of my people. They buried Him with the wicked, threw Him in a grave with a rich man, Even though Hed never hurt a soul or said one word that wasnt true. Still, its what God had in mind all along, to crush Him with pain. The plan was that He give himself as an offering for sin so that Hed see life come from itlife, life, and more life. And Gods plan will deeply prosper through Him.
Out of that terrible travail of soul, Hell see that its worth it and be glad He did it. Through what He experienced, My righteous One, My servant, will make many righteous ones, as He Himself carries the burden of their sins. Therefore Ill reward Him extravagantly the best of everything, the highest honors Because he looked death in the face and didnt flinch, because he embraced the company of the lowest. He took on His own shoulders the sin of the many, He took up the cause of all the black sheep.
FATHER GOD,
Thank You for loving us so much that You would send Your only Son, JESUS, to die on the cross for our sins. You made CHRIST, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with You through CHRIST. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Instill in our hearts what JESUS told His disciples, If any of you wants to be My follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow Me." (Matthew 16:24) May we humble ourselves and die to self in absolute surrender to JESUS' commands. JESUS gave His all for us, help us to do the same for Him.
In JESUS' Name we pray. Amen.

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Oh, my Jesus, forgive our sins. Help us to walk the narrow way. Help our nation to turn away from sin and to turn back to you.

Psalm 22
To the leader: according to The Deer of the Dawn. A Psalm of David.
1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning?
2 O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer;
and by night, but find no rest.
3 Yet you are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.
4 In you our ancestors trusted;
they trusted, and you delivered them.
5 To you they cried, and were saved;
in you they trusted, and were not put to shame.
6 But I am a worm, and not human;
scorned by others, and despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock at me;
they make mouths at me, they shake their heads;
8 Commit your cause to the Lord; let him deliver
let him rescue the one in whom he delights!
9 Yet it was you who took me from the womb;
you kept me safe on my mothers breast.
10 On you I was cast from my birth,
and since my mother bore me you have been my God.
11 Do not be far from me,
for trouble is near
and there is no one to help.
12 Many bulls encircle me,
strong bulls of Bashan surround me;
13 they open wide their mouths at me,
like a ravening and roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint;
my heart is like wax;
it is melted within my breast;
15 my mouth* is dried up like a potsherd,
and my tongue sticks to my jaws;
you lay me in the dust of death.
16 For dogs are all around me;
a company of evildoers encircles me.
My hands and feet have shrivelled;*
17 I can count all my bones.
They stare and gloat over me;
18 they divide my clothes among themselves,
and for my clothing they cast lots.
19 But you, O Lord, do not be far away!
O my help, come quickly to my aid!
20 Deliver my soul from the sword,
my life* from the power of the dog!
21 Save me from the mouth of the lion!
From the horns of the wild oxen you have rescued* me.
22 I will tell of your name to my brothers and sisters;*
in the midst of the congregation I will praise you:
23 You who fear the Lord, praise him!
All you offspring of Jacob, glorify him;
stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel!
24 For he did not despise or abhor
the affliction of the afflicted;
he did not hide his face from me,*
but heard when I* cried to him.
25 From you comes my praise in the great congregation;
my vows I will pay before those who fear him.
26 The poor* shall eat and be satisfied;
those who seek him shall praise the Lord.
May your hearts live for ever!
27 All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the Lord;
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before him.*
28 For dominion belongs to the Lord,
and he rules over the nations.
29 To him,* indeed, shall all who sleep in* the earth bow down;
before him shall bow all who go down to the dust,
and I shall live for him.*
30 Posterity will serve him;
future generations will be told about the Lord,
31 and* proclaim his deliverance to a people yet unborn,
saying that he has done it.
AMEN!
