PRAYER
Holy God of the covenant, Jesus embraced the cross to break the power of death over its hold on us. In this Lenten time of repentance, teach and lead us by your Holy Spirit as we study your Word, fast, and pray.
Hear the prayer for our nation: Evil forces attack our government from without and within. You are Almighty God and nothing can prevail against you. Continue to reveal all the plots, lies and traps created for the destruction of our nation. Protect physically, mentally and spiritually your servants President Trump and Vice President Pence. Give President Trump and Vice President Pence discernment to remove corruption and restore law and order within our government. In your strength, give them wisdom and courage to persevere in the tasks set before them.
By your Holy Spirit, you remain with us giving us hope leading us in your truth to walk in obedience. Bring revival in our nation. Allow us to proclaim the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord given to all the world, and only in ‘God that we trust.’ We ask all through the blessed name of our Savior Jesus the Christ.
