the best possible interpretation is that this leftist @$$hole is simply deceived by his own ignorance, when in fact he actually knows nothing about reality in China

"in China “the economy does not dominate politics, as happens in the United States, something Americans themselves would say.”

That's not surprising since China is a totalitarian state and the people have no voice in either the economy or politics. This "priest" is a fascist.

“This spirit of love and compassion make us different from other social workers. The Church’s charitable activity is a contemplation of the presence of Jesus, who made Himself present, in the hungry, in the naked, in the sick and the homeless. That’s why, Mother Teresa said to her Missionaries of Charity,- “We are not social workers, we are really contemplatives right in the heart of the world, for we are touching the body of Christ — twenty-four hours.”

Francis and his administration have gone too far.

Welcome to our post-modern world, where Communism passes for Catholicism.

social doctrine of the Church

That is why the social doctrine of the church is horrible. When the RC ruled central Italy the Papal States were a synonym for corruption and backwardness. This is coming a Catholic.

Words fail me.

Here are some words:

"One child" policy.

Compulsory abortion.

Reeducation camps.

None of these things are compatible with Catholic social doctrine.

Well then, I’m sure the Church won’t object to being taxed.

How much of the Catholic church has gone over to the other side? The pope, obviously, but how much of the hierarchy?

Listen, you men in dresses, read Divini Redemptoris! Are you too stupid to do that?

Some truths in his words, but have nothing to do with “implementing the social doctrine of the Church” .

I imagine that Bishop Francis Xavier Ford will never be beatified let alone canonized by this Pope.
