Franklin Graham, one of the nation's most prominent Christian leaders, said Wednesday on the Todd Starnes Radio Show that the Trump presidency faces a grave, domestic threat.
"I believe we are in a coup d'etat," Graham told Starnes. "There are people in this country who are wanting to destroy the president and take over the government by force."
Graham, the president and CEO of Samaritan's Purse, warned that there are forces at work who want to "wrestle control of the government" away from Trump.
"They are not going to use bullets. They are using the media – to plant thoughts in people's minds that he's incompetent, that he's dangerous, that you can't trust him with nuclear weapons, that he is mentally unstable," Graham said.
Graham called on the nation to pray for the president and the vice president.

You know, there are a lot of sources that if they said this, I’d consider it conspiracy theory stuff.
Franklin Graham is one of the few I take seriously.
We need to continue to pray for President Trump as much as we did for him to be elected.
Pray the American People are smarter than that. Pray they saw on Tuesday night the damage and attitude of Communism and Socialism creates.

Misleading headline.
DOJ “counterintelligence experts” maybe had a use in the 70s and 80s, but at this point they are useless. When your agency is full of liars and cheats, your hand is already played out. Fools.

I don’t believe they’ll ever stop. Trump stopped Hillary. Therefore, he must be destroyed.
Trump’s problem, and America’s, is there’s no one to arrest the traitors. And the traitors know it. The only “thing” that can protect Trump is “We the People”. And we may be called on. Be prepared.

Still, I think Graham is correct in the methods being employed by the media to discredit him.
OTOH, I don’t doubt that if they had the ability, there would be a forceful coup.
I agree with Graham. The Deep State is about to come unglued over this memo that may or may not be released today.<
I’m convinced that the only reason he is even still alive is God’s hand of protection on him, for whatever purpose God has in using him.
Trump will not be touched until or unless God deems it so.
I love Franklin Graham. I think he is right about this.
I wish they’d just release it and get it over with.
IMO, however, it appears a sad understatement to simply say he "could" face a coup d'etat.
Based on what is already in the public domain, it would be a more accurate, realistic and pertinent headline if it claimed Trump was the subject of an attempted coup d'etat.
Moreover, until the actors have been fully identified and dealt with it is possible the attempted coup continues.

Yes, the headline could have been from 2017 and the content is current.
