Do Not Abandon the Church
Spiritual Food Blogspot ^ | December 12, 2017 | Rev. Joseph Dwight

Posted on 12/30/2017 4:18:26 AM PST by JosephJames

Recently I wrote to the people in a group in which we meet every Friday to pray and to encourage each other in the period of great confusion in the Church. Today the world and the Church is on the left side, liberal, with the presumption of the love and mercy of God, with no obligation to live what we say in the Act of Contrition: “I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin” (“Who Decides The Truth?”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/06/who-decides-truth.html; https://www.scribd.com/doc/229388195/Who-Decides-the-Truth)! Thus there is the tendency to go toward the other extreme, to the right, and even to leave the Body of Christ, the Spouse of Christ, the Church, believing to find the true Church in another group. Today the Church is full of more Judas Iscariots than ever before. It is now that the Church needs faithful faithful on their knees before the Blessed Sacrament with the Holy Rosary. Saint Thomas Aquinas tells us that virtue lies between the two extremes; today with so many on the left side in subjectivism and relativism, there is a great temptation to go too far to the right and to lose true humility. We must not compromise with the truth as so many do today, but at the same time we must recognize that we are sinners and we must not abandon the Church crucified today due to more sins than ever before.

Dear friends of the Friday group,

Our Friday group is a group of sinners. This is why we do the Way of the Cross every Friday in order to penetrate the mystery that if I were the only person on the face of the earth, Jesus would have done all that suffering only for me. Visit: “The Great Gift of the Cross” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2017/09/the-great-gift-of-cross.html; https://josephdwight.wordpress.com/2017/09/15/the-great-gift-of-the-cross/; https://www.scribd.com/document/358989258/The-Great-Gift-of-the-Cross).

Our group is not a group in which we believe that we are less sinners than others. I wrote in my article to the neocatecumens, “The Infinite God Among Us” (“Il Dio Infinito Fra Noi”; http://cibo-spir.blogspot.it/2014/01/il-dio-infinito-fra-noi.html):

“When one reads the diary of Saint Faustina, one sees that while she progressed in union with Jesus, she was MORE AND MORE AWARE OF HER MISERY, and at the same time more trustful in the mercy of God with much gratitude toward God for this inestimable gift of His mercy! Instead, very often, the more that we go forward in an ecclesial movement or in or priestly ministry, we believe to be less pitiful and more worthy to stand before God and men. And when a person does not do what he must do according to our criteria as leaders in an ecclesial movement or as a pastor of a parish, instead of trying to understand the situation and the motives of the person, who often we treat this person badly, very badly. Is this the way to love our neighbor as ourselves? What remains after death for all eternity, a great work that we believe to have done or our personal virtue? Saint Bonaventure and many other saints tell us that without humility there is not virtue, and there is also spiritual blindness! Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger said on May 27 1998: “… THERE IS MANIFESTED MANY DANGERS, as well as the ways of overcoming, in the (ecclesial) Movement. THERE IS THE THREAT OF UNILATERALITY which leads to exaggerating the specific mandate which has its origin in a given period or in strength of a particular charism … is a fact THAT CAN LEAD TO ABSOLUTIZING one’s own movement, which ends up identifying itself with the Church herself, to understand itself as the way for all while in fact this one way can be made known in different ways.” … “THERE IS A STRONG TENDENCY FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE ECCLESIAL MOVEMENTS TO “ABSOLUTIZING ONES OWN MOVEMENT” especially today when we find ourselves more than ever in a social, cultural and spiritual crisis at all levels. But we priests must seek that maturity to not run from this lack of maturity which suffocates the life which is there, but to stand with Mary at the foot of the cross, waiting with patience and with our example, their Christian maturity. One makes a journey of faith and maturity together, each respecting the role and vocation of the other. (see also: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/apost_exhortations/documents/hf_jp-ii_exh_30121988_christifideles-laici_en.html)” (“The Neocatecumenal Mass”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/02/the-neocatecumenal-mass.html).

The martyrs of the first centuries of the Church, did not hold a vengeance against their murderers and thus attracted many new followers to the new Christian religion because people never saw before anything similar, that is the great persecution and injustice without vengeance or rancor, but forgiveness from the heart.

I wrote in my article, “The Eucharist in the Catacombs” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2017/10/the-eucharist-in-catacombs.html; https://josephdwight.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/the-eucharist-in-the-catacombs/; https://www.scribd.com/document/361581452/The-Eucharist-in-the-Catacombs):

“Do not seek a perfect Catholic group with people who have put themselves above the TRUE Magisterium of the Church, as did the Donatists in the time of Saint Augustine, and many groups in the history of the Catholic Church, but rather remain with Mary at the foot of the cross as the Body of Christ, the Church, is being humiliated and crucified in this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21; CCC 677). The schismatic traditionalist groups, where there is very often present spiritual blindness and proof texting and a priori deductions if things do not fit into their scheme or idea (e.g., Mass bad – therefore the Second Vatican Council bad, without studying the documents of the council, and popes afterwards bad etc.), have convinced many Catholics that the Novus Ordo Mass of the Second Vatican Council is invalid. But as explained above, in the Novus Ordo Mass, all the four essential elements are present; below you can also read that “the other parts of the Eucharistic prayer are, according to St. Ambrose (also quoted in Summa Theologica), essentially preparatory”. If a priest obeys the Liturgical Books of the Catholic Church, the Novus Ordo Mass is to be celebrated with the same reverence and respect as is expected from a priest who celebrates the Tridentine Mass following the Liturgical Books which regard the Tridentine Mass. In the early 60’s in California, I was an altar boy and one of the priests of our parish celebrated the Tridentine Mass in less than 20 minutes every day. The real problem here is in the heart and in the faith of the priests and bishops and of the lay people. If the majority, and even the great majority, of the bishops and priests and lay people are no longer willing to obey the Liturgical Books or even the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults and have slipped into the worship of man instead of remaining faithful to their calling as Christians to worship God, “to adore God alone”, what could Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict do to remedy the problem?

As I wrote in “Letter to fellow Priests” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/12/letter-to-fellow-priests.html):

“Archbishop Fulton Sheen said: “The truth is the truth even if no one believes it; error is error even if everyone believes it.” Many Catholics actually believe today, in our climate of relativism, that the truth is established by the majority of people or perhaps by the priests, bishops or the pope; few Catholics realize today that God not only establishes the Truth, but God is the Truth (Jn 14:6), Who is immutable! In this period before the second coming of Jesus Christ, “that day will not come, unless THE REBELLION (APOSTASY) COMES FIRST” (2Thess 2:3); this indicates that the majority, if not the great majority of Catholics at all levels in the Church will follow the very attractive “apostasy” which will seem the best way, the right way, the most merciful way, the most loving way, the most ecumenical way, the most merciful way, presented by “angels of light” (2Cor 11:14), who give their approval and blessing without any exhortation to “promise with the help of thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin” (Act of Contrition)! Christianity without the cross of Christ! These are the liberals who in the past left the Church on the “port side” (left side) of the Bark of Peter, while there are many who leave the Bark of Peter on the “starboard side”, (the right side) of the Bark of Peter, the schismatic traditionalists, by putting themselves above the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church, above the Truth which cannot change since it is part of the Divinely Revealed Truth…” (“Is the Pope Catholic? - The Greatest Schism in Catholic Church History!”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2016/05/is-pope-catholic.html). The schismatic traditionalists seek to maintain their feeling of importance in triumphalism and clericalism that was rather strong before the Second Vatican Council.

THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRADITIONALISTS AND SCHISMATIC TRADITIONALISTS. To be a traditionalist is very good because it means to hold on to traditions and the immutable truth from God. But schismatic traditionalists have put themselves over and above the authentic Magisterium of the Church just as so many groups have done in the 2000 year history of the Church. There is much to be said about the value of the beauty of the Tridentine Mass to help people realize the greatness of God and to draw our attention toward God primarily and not to man primarily. But there is also much to be said about the benefits of using also the vernacular language at the proper moments of the Mass as the Liturgical Books of the Church indicate. When the Mass was celebrated only in Latin, it was more difficult to change things so as to shift the emphasis and attention from God to man as many wanted to do. Many people were not seeking to discover what God wanted but what man wanted. By offering more options in the Sacred Liturgy at the Second Vatican Council, it became easier for those who were not first seeking God’s will and desires, to improvise and make the exceptions, provided in the Liturgical Books of the Church, the rule to fit what they wanted, putting man instead of God as the primary focus of the Holy Mass. But you cannot put handcuffs on everyone! God does not force anyone to seek his holy will so as to truly live the Our Father: “THY will be done”. No one goes to heaven by chance and no one goes to hell by chance. God respects totally our free choice; no one is predestined to hell as Calvin taught. Another example of this manipulation within the Mass is that Communion in the hand was not only started in disobedience, but was perpetuated by deception. Visit: “The History of Communion in the Hand” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2016/12/history-communion-in-hand.html).

THERE IS AN ENORMOUS AND FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCE between negating an ecumenical council (more than 2000 bishops present) and saying that we have arrived to the prophecies of Saint Francis of Assisi, Blessed Catherine Emmerich, Saint Hildegard (doctor of the Church), Bruno Cornacchiola (Book: Il Veggente, by Saverio Gaeta) and others regarding THE ONE (not many false popes!) FALSE POPE! As with all ecumenical councils in the history of the Church, the documents of the Second Vatican Council were protected by the Holy Spirit; it was the organized misinterpretation and dissemination of this misinterpretation of the Second Vatican Council that caused all the problems and disunity and negative fruits – the “Spirit of Vatican Two!” You cannot force faith or obedience. God Himself does not force anyone to spend eternity with Him in heaven; this is why after death there are two eternal places, one where there is God Who is the Truth, and one where there is not God but the “father of lies” (Jn 8:44). God totally respects the free choice of each person. If a person does not want to be with God every day in this short life - in prayer and in living the Our Father, “THY will be done” - at death, it is not God who sends this person to the place where there is not God, but this person willingly throws himself or herself into the eternal place where there is not God. “The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God” (CCC 1035). Visit: “The Great Difficulty In Overcoming Pharisaism - The Difference Between Schismatic Traditionalism and the False Pope Prophecies” (http://schis-trad.blogspot.it/2016/05/overcoming-pharisaism.html).”

I AM A CATHOLIC. It is very important to keep in mind some very fundamental Truths. One Truth that may seem obvious, but no longer today in an atmosphere totally dominated by subjectivism and relativism, is that the Truth comes from God, not from me or any other creature and also not from the Church, and thus no priest, bishop or pope can change the Truth of Divine Revelation which is well summarized in the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults. I am not referring to the catechism that Bergoglio published this year, 2017! I am referring to the CCC published in 1992 by Pope John Paul II which the very numerous puppets of our mortal enemy, Satan, have managed to get the great majority of the diocese in the world to forget about, or to put aside or to scorn, especially in most seminaries, as old and out of date for out new “modern church”! Our Lady referred to this catechism of Pope John Paul II:

“The great trial has come for the Church, so violated by the evil spirits, so divided in its unity, so darkened in its holiness. See how error has flooded throughout it, error which leads to the loss of the true faith. Apostasy is spreading everywhere. A special gift of my Immaculate Heart for these times of yours is the CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, which MY Pope has wished to promulgate, to be as it were HIS SHINING LAST TESTAMENT. But how many are those pastors who grope about in the mist, become speechless out of fear or compromise, and who no longer defend their flocks from the many rapacious wolves! Many priestly and consecrated lives have become dried up by impurity, seduced by pleasures and the search for comfort and well-being. The faithful are being drawn in by the enticements of a world which has become pagan, or by the countless sects which are spreading more and more. …” (Our Lady to Don Stefano Gobbi; January 1, 1993).

The schismatic traditionalist groups put themselves above the Second Vatican Council, and thus above Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. What can a good pope do if the great majority of the bishops do not obey? Pope Benedict tried in every way to have a “Reform of the Reform” of the liturgy, and also to convince the neocatecumens to obey the liturgical books for the celebration of the Holy Mass. From my experience, losing my sister, brother-in-law, with seven children, and my Mother in the sedevacantists groups, it is very difficult to come out of this mentality of superiority, from the “Trilogy of Devils in the Church: Triumphalism, Clericalism and Juridicalism” which the Second Vatican Council tried to overcome. It was difficult for me to leave a schismatic traditionalist group in 1983 (“The Cult At Necedah, Wisconsin”; http://necedah-cult.blogspot.com).

“It is not easy to criticize oneself in order to discover the causes of the problems as well as the solutions. But the Church actually succeeded in listening to her critics and then translated this into a self criticism precisely at the Second Vatican Council. The Church arrived at a rather high level of maturity at the council. But has this maturity arrived yet in our dioceses and in our parishes after fifty years since the council? … The manifold Catholic attack against triumphalism goes hand in glove with a desire to sustain the spirituality of the Church. This is one of the essential elements of the new ecclesiological way of thinking apparent at the council. It wanted no new dogma, no new definition of the Church that would clarify everything. Rather, with the hierarchy in mind in a most existential sense, it was a summons to complete and utter humility. The Church was being told to remember that it followed the Lord who came not to be served but to serve” (Mk 10:45) (“Evangelization VS the Trilogy of Devils in the Church: Triumphalism, Clericalism and Juridicalism”; http://trueevangelization.blogspot.com).

I wrote in my article, “The Great Difficulty In Overcoming Pharisaism - The Difference Between Schismatic Traditionalism and the False Pope Prophecies” (http://schis-trad.blogspot.it/2016/05/overcoming-pharisaism.html):

“Before the Second Vatican Council, people stayed away from topics that could lead to the slippery slope. When children are young, parents say, “Do as I tell you!” But when their children are older the parents explain more and more fully the motives of their rules for their children, which opens up the opportunity for the children to accept or reject the motives of the rules of their parents. Many children, who trust more in themselves instead of in their parents, are looking for an excuse to take the easier way. Over a hundred years ago, many people were still working on the farm and did not have a chance to study too much, and thus accepted readily the simple explanation of the parish priest regarding faith and morals. But now many people have a college education and ask questions and rightly so. In a certain sense, God further explained the rules of the Church at the Second Vatican Council; the Holy Spirit brought the Church to a higher level of maturity. But many Catholics did as do irresponsible children who were LOOKING FOR THE EASIEST WAY INSTEAD OF LOOKING TO PLEASE GOD IN CHILDLIKE TRUST. So many immature Catholics were seeking to use religion for their own benefit on this earth, to find approval for their egotistical desires and their definition of truth as did Adam and Eve (Gen 3:4-5), instead of using religion to discover and do the holy will of God. Thus God has now given these very numerous spoiled arrogant children in the Church, and in the world, what they wanted as St. Francis prophesied:

2. The power of the demons will be greater than usual, the immaculate purity of our religious community and of others, will wither to the point that very few Christians will want to obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with a sincere heart and perfect charity. At the decisive moment of this crisis, a personage not canonically elected, raised to the Pontificate, will endeavor to administer shrewdly to many the mortal poison of his error.” (“The “Prophecy” of Saint Francis (Assisi)”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/11/prophecy-st-francis.html).

“After the Second Vatican Council many did not obey the documents and SHREWDLY SHIFTED THE FOCUS OF ATTENTION FROM GOD TO MAN. Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican's chief exorcist said in an interview of 2001:

The Second Vatican Council asked that some texts be revised. Disobeying this command, they set about re-writing them completely with no thought for the danger of making things worse instead of better. So many rites came off badly from this mania to throw out the old and start from scratch, as if the Church to date had always conned us and as if only now the time had at last come of the great geniuses, the super theologians, the super-biblists and the super-liturgists who know what the right thing is for the Church. This is a lie: the last Council simply asked that the texts be revised, not destroyed.” (http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?id=2879; http://www.vaticans.org/index.php?/archives/61-An-interview-with-the-Vaticans-chief-excorcist,-Father-Gabriele.html). … Pope John Paul II as well as Pope Benedict ordered in a very clear way the members of the Neocatecumenal Way to obey and faithfully follow the liturgical books of the Church; the three founders of the Neocatecumenal Way refused to obey these two popes. Visit: “The Neocatecumenal Mass” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/02/the-neocatecumenal-mass.html) (“Letter to fellow Priests”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/12/letter-to-fellow-priests.html).

The “very few Christians” who “obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with a sincere heart and perfect charity” are now looking for guidance in a Church full of confusion, and with “a personage not canonically elected, raised to the Pontificate, will endeavor to administer shrewdly to many the mortal poison of his error”. There is now no longer unity under the Divine Revelation infallibly explained by the authentic Magisterim of the Church but there is unity under a dictator who will not dialogue with anyone, including cardinals, who are not in agreement with him, that is, those who maintain the absolute necessity to remain faithful to the revealed Truth, who is Christ (Jn 14:6), and thus cannot change with the world and with the whims of men, not even “an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished” (Mt 5:17-18; 24,35). Those with a sincere heart will suffer with those who do not want to obey the authentic Magisterium of the Church especially regarding sexual morality and the progressive destruction of the Holy Mass to arrive at the ultimate “DESOLATING SACRILEGE” (Mt 24:15; Mk 13:14; 2Thess 2:3-4; Dan 9:27; 11:31; 12:11)! Many of these “very few Christians”, not having studied theology have been led to put the blame on the documents of the Second Vatican Council instead of the organized promulgation of a false interpretation of the documents, the “spirit of Vatican Two”. Few people, including most priests and bishops today, have the discipline in theological thought and problems to do as Saint Thomas Aquinas wrote: Rarely affirm, seldom deny, ALWAYS DISTINGUISH. In most seminaries today there is no longer taught courses on logic and cosmology.

This is why POPE JOHN PAUL II (AMONG MANY OTHER OCCASIONS) SPOKE FIRMLY TO THE US BISHOPS AGAINST THIS "PICK AND CHOOSE SMORGASBORD TYPE CATHOLICISM" in LA in his September 1987 visit: "It is sometimes reported that a large number of Catholics today do not adhere to the teaching of the Church on a number of questions, notably sexual and conjugal morality, divorce and remarriage. Some are reported as not accepting the Church's clear position on abortion. It has also been noted that there is a tendency on the part of some Catholics to be selective in their adherence to the Church's moral teachings. It is sometimes claimed that dissent from the Magisterium is totally compatible with being a “good Catholic” and poses no obstacle to the reception of the sacraments. THIS IS A GRAVE ERROR that challenges the teaching office of the bishops of the United States and elsewhere. I wish to encourage you in the love of Christ to address this situation courageously in your pastoral ministry, relying on the power of God's truth to attract assent and on the grace of the Holy Spirit which is given both to those who proclaim the message and to those to whom it is addressed." (http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/speeches/1987/september/documents/hf_jp-ii_spe_19870916_vescovi-stati-uniti_en.html).

When one has acquired a logical way of thinking and theological discipline one understands the great danger of lumping just about everything into the category of grey instead of analysing the small black dots and white background. Either Christ gave us an infallible guide on earth regarding faith and morals, or Christ did not give us an infallible guide on earth regarding faith and morals which would leave us totally in our own subjectivism and relativism which would lead to our destruction.

Lumen Gentium 25 clearly teaches that the documents of an ecumenical council are INFALLIBLE (CCC 891). The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 888-892; www.vatican.va/archive/ccc/) tell us that the doctrines of the Church are essential in order to arrive to sanctity. “When the Church through its supreme Magisterium proposes a doctrine “for belief as being divinely revealed,” and as the teaching of Christ, the definitions “must be adhered to with the obedience of faith.” This infallibility extends as fare as the deposit of divine Revelation itself” (CCC 891). But to the ordinary teaching of the Church “the faithful are to adhere to it with religious assent” which, though distinct from the assent of faith, is nonetheless an extension of it” (CCC 892). Thus the documents in an ecumenical council express in human language the absolute truths which cannot be changed, EVEN BY A FUTURE POPE FOR APPARENTLY GOOD MOTIVES TO MAKE THE NON CATHOLICS FEEL MORE AT EASE (at a Catholic Mass!) (false ecumenism, false mercy, false love!)! Before the New World Order totally manifests itself, there is needed to be in place a one world religion which “will be emptied of all divine content and will be the mystical body of the antichrist” (read the words of Cardinal Biffi and Archbishop Fulton Sheen, visit: http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/02/resignation-of-pope-benedict.html). The Church is the handmaid of the Truth and not the Author of the Truth which is God! The Truth is absolute even though we are living in a world today in which the culture totally refuses the possibility of the absolute Truth. These very numerous modern “enlightened” people of today say that the Truth must change according to the world, according to the consensus of the majority, and even according to each individual; this is exactly relativism which Pope Benedict XVI said is "the most profound difficulty of our time"!

But even though we are in the time of the New World Order as well as the infiltration of the Catholic Church by the ecclesiastical masonry, as explained above, the Holy Spirit protected the veracity of the teachings of the authentic Magisterium of the Church up to “a personage NOT CANONICALLY ELECTED, raised to the Pontificate”, which of course is not part of the authentic Magisterium of the Church.

Before the Second Vatican Council there was the strong tendency in the Church to believe that only the truth, that is the Catholic Church, has the right to be promoted publicly; the other Churches or groups must remain in the closet. But the council fathers, seeing the Church persecuted in more and more hostile countries, realized that every person or group has the right to promote his or her or their belief publicly due to the human dignity of each person as long as one does not interfere with the rights of others, i.e., public peace, public order and public morality (DH 7); this is the principle of promoting religion or the faith on the basis of the dignity of each person. This was a change in DISCIPLINE of how religion is promoted; it was NOT A CHANGE IN FAITH OR MORALS, as the schismatic traditionalists claim. We see that in the document, “Dignitatis Humanae”, it is very clear that the Church teaches against indifferentism and against subjectivism: “All men are bound to seek the truth, especially in what concerns God and his Church, and to embrace it and hold on to it as they come to know it. The sacred Council likewise proclaims that these obligations bind man’s conscience. … So while the religious freedom which men demand in fulfilling their obligation to worship God has to do with freedom from coercion in civil society, it leaves intact the traditional Catholic teaching on the moral duty of individuals and societies towards the true religion and the one Church of Christ” (DH 1). (http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_decl_19651207_dignitatis-humanae_en.html. Visit: “The Declaration of Religious Liberty”; http://schis-trad.blogspot.it/2008/03/religious-liberty-of-vcii.html).

Schismatic traditionalists maintain that there is no salvation outside the ‘VISIBLE’ Catholic Church. But how do they explain someone in China who never heard about Jesus Christ? Do they then believe in predestination to hell as Calvin believed? Thus again the Second Vatican Council explained in greater detail and clarity the dictum "extra ecclesiam nulla salus" without falling into either a false triumphalism or indifferentism. (“Ecclesiology of the Catholic Church”; http://schis-trad.blogspot.it/2008/03/ecclesiology-of-vcii.html). A Catholic "is not saved, however, who, though part of the body of the Church, does not persevere in charity" (Lumen Gentium, no. 14).

“This is the one Church of Christ which in the Creed is professed as one, holy, catholic and apostolic, which our Saviour, after His Resurrection, commissioned Peter to shepherd, and him and the other apostles to extend and direct with authority, which He erected for all ages as "the pillar and mainstay of the truth". This Church constituted and organized in the world as a society, SUBSISTS in the Catholic Church, which is governed by the successor of Peter and by the Bishops in communion with him, although many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside of its visible structure. These elements, as gifts belonging to the Church of Christ, are forces impelling toward catholic unity. Just as Christ carried out the work of redemption in poverty and persecution, so the Church is called to follow the same route that it might communicate the fruits of salvation to men. Christ Jesus, "though He was by nature God . . . emptied Himself, taking the nature of a slave", and "being rich, became poor" for our sakes. Thus, the Church, although it needs human resources to carry out its mission, is not set up to seek earthly glory, but to proclaim, even by its own example, humility and self-sacrifice.” (Lumen Gentium, no. 8; http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_const_19641121_lumen-gentium_en.html). Visit also: “The Impact and Interpretation of 'Subsists In' (Vatican II)” (http://schis-trad.blogspot.it/2008/03/subsists-in.html).

There is a great human temptation to want to feel better than others, do dominate over others while seeing this tendency only in others, to not follow the example of Christ who said to those who truly want to follow Him: “Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN FROM ME; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Mt 11:29-30).

The Second Vatican Council also explains that a person born into a protestant family is not automatically culpable of being outside the one visible Church that Christ founded, the Catholic Church, and that such a person can correspond with the grace of God to live the Gospel better than many baptized Catholics. Just as grace and truth can subsist anywhere (wherever the Spirit blows), so too, grace and truth can subsist in other churches. "Nevertheless, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside its visible confines. … Moreover, some and even very many of the significant elements and endowments which together go to build up and give life to the Church itself, can exist outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church: the written word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, and visible elements too. All of these, which come from Christ and lead back to Christ, belong by right to the one Church of Christ” (Unitatis Redintegratio, no. 3; http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_decree_19641121_unitatis-redintegratio_en.html. In the article, “Is the Pope Catholic? - The Greatest Schism in Catholic Church History!” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2016/05/is-pope-catholic.html):

“In the New World Religion, as Archbishop Fulton Sheen (and Cardinal Biffi) pointed out years ago: “The false church will be worldly, ecumenical (false), and global. It will be a loose federation of churches, religions forming some type of global association, a world parliament of churches. It will be emptied of all divine content and will be the mystical body of the antichrist.” Thus we see now that Bishop Fellay is coming together with “Pope Francis” because “Pope Francis” has indicated that the doctrinal issues are not so important!!! Let us put aside the uncomfortable truth, Who is Jesus Christ, so as to be all together in a worldwide brotherly fraternity of “peace and love” as did thousands of youth, the “Flower Children”, from the summer of 1965 to the culmination of the “summer of love” in 1967 in California in Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco in search of peace, love and freedom (from all rules from any authority) with music, LSD and poetry! Did God give us rules, the Ten Commandments, for our good or for our evil? Do God’s laws offer true love and true freedom or false love and false freedom? Is it possible to have true love without any rules or restrictions? Do we trust our Creator or do we trust ourselves?

“SSPX’s Bishop Fellay: Little by Little Rome Is Giving Us All We Need for Reconciliation” - “But the French-Swiss SSPX leader has learned how to communicate with this Pope, by acknowledging that Francis often seems to view doctrine as an obstacle to leading people to Jesus. For the Pope, Bishop Fellay said, “what is important is life, it’s the person, and so he tries to look at the person, and there, if I may say, he’s very human”…

Certainly he doesn’t agree with us on these points on the Council which we are attacking. Definitely he doesn’t. But for him, as the doctrine is not so important — it is man, the people, who are important — there we have given enough proof that we are Catholics.” (“Bergoglio, il generale che vuole vincere senza combattere”; http://chiesa.espresso.repubblica.it/articolo/1350737)

“Francis often seems to view doctrine as an obstacle to leading people to Jesus”! THIS IS A TOTAL CONTRADICTION because the Church expresses the Divine Revelation throughout the centuries in her doctrines, which are expressions of the Truth Who is Jesus Christ (Jn14:6)!?! Pope Benedict opened up dialogue with the SSPX and even bent over backwards to receive them into the Catholic Church, allowing them to maintain their liturgical rites. But Pope Benedict would not receive them into the Church if they were not willing to accept the documents of the Second Vatican Council. Pope Benedict took this discernment process out of the Congregation for Divine Worship and gave it to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, because the real problem was not so much a liturgical issue but a doctrinal issue. (https://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/sspxs-bishop-fellay-little-by-little-rome-is-giving-us-all-we-need-for-reco/).

Again we find a fundamental contradiction here in that Bishop Fellay does not agree with the documents of the Second Vatican Council, and thus was unwilling to reunite to the Catholic Church by accepting these documents, but is more and more willing to put these doctrinal differences aside due to the deceptive and misleading appeals of Bergoglio, who “will endeavor to administer shrewdly to many the mortal poison of his error” - the doctrinal issues are not so important!?! Jesus Christ, the Truth (Jn 14:6), is not so important!?!?! If Bishop Fellay, and all the schismatic traditionalists, had the humility of Christ, which the Church in Lumen Gentium, no. 8, and in the other documents of the Council were calling us to, they would not be deceived by Bergoglio, who “disguises himself as an angel of light” (2Cor 11:14)!

The Second Vatican Council was a summons to complete and utter humility. Thus right after the Council, Satan began to push the pendulum to the other side toward false humility, to false love, to false mercy and misguided compassion, to false ecumenism (without the truth expressed in the doctrines of the Church), but telling us that it is not nice or loving to preach about the examination of conscience according to the Ten Commandments well explained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults (CCC – 1992). “Forbidden to Speak About Sin” (https://josephdwight.wordpress.com/2016/09/24/forbidden-to-speak-about-sin/)! But sin separates us from God; sin is our greatest evil. What an incredible contradiction embraced by so many today in the Catholic Church! If we acknowledge and confess our sins, we become free from slavery and true brothers and sisters in Christ who is the Truth, instead of being slaves to sin now and for all eternity! When we put Christ, the Truth, first, only then can we truly love our neighbor.

Bergoglio is shrewdly communicating to both the liberals and the conservatives that “doctrinal issues are not so important”. That is, Jesus Christ, the Truth, is not so important, but what is important is that we are all together, in a “universal fraternity”, in the cult of man without God, sacrificing the Truth on the altar of unity, a true malevolent dictatorship, not a benevolent dictatorship as it is in heaven. It is amazing how the two extremes meet, both with a lack of true humility and obedience to Christ the Truth, both extremes embracing truth according to their own human subjectivism and relativism as if each of us can decide the truth as did Lucifer and Adam and Eve (Gen 3:4-5). The primary point of discernment for private revelations is precisely humility and obedience which indicates that the seers and their followers trust in God and not in themselves which indicates that the revelation comes from God not from man (http://necedah-cult.blogspot.com). “Saint Thomas Aquinas tells us that virtue lies in the middle between the two extremes which is usually the more difficult path requiring much patience, discernment, humility and long suffering. On various occasions Jesus used very strong words for those who have taken the easier path…” (“The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html).

Among all those who claim to be Catholic today, WHO ARE THE ONES who are truly seeking the Truth outside of themselves from God, not for their disguised glory or for their hidden agenda, ready to suffer to change their lives accordingly, AND WHO ARE THE ONES who claim to be seeking the Truth outside of themselves but with a hidden attitude that God is always in agreement with themselves or with their group?

400 years ago the protestants left the Church causing great harm and disunity and the death of thousands of Christians. But today the protestants remain in the Church and put to silence or send away those who remain faithful to the immutable Truth of God. An example of this is what Msgr. Athanasius Schneider was trying to say: “The (Neocatecumenal) Way is a TROJAN HORSE in the Church” (March 6, 2016; http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2016/04/exclusive-interview-with-bishop.html). Having arrived to “a personage NOT canonically elected, raised to the Pontificate”, everyone, both in the Church and outside of the Church, is being encouraged and manipulated very strongly, to be “politically correct” in the Church (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2017/10/politically-correct-in-church-ewtn.html), that is, to please man who does not want to hear about sin or the consequences of sin, and to put aside the “Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”! Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict, and all the popes up to Bergoglio, told us: “Only what is true can ultimately be pastoral”; they also told us that the greatest sin today is that we have lost the sense of sin! “Some preachers will keep silent about the truth and, denying the truth, they will trample upon the truth. The sanctity of life will be held in derision by those who only profess it outwardly, and for this reason Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a worthy Pastor, but a destroyer.” (“The “Prophecy” of Saint Francis (Assisi)”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/11/prophecy-st-francis.html).

Our Lady in her messages to Don Stefano Gobbi (“To The Priests Our Lady’s Beloved Sons”; http://our-lady-priests.blogspot.it/) says often the importance of becoming little children! If we feel full of our intelligence, wisdom and holiness, God draws away from us and we deceive ourselves and in the end we destroy ourselves. “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and BECOME LIKE CHILDREN, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven” (Mt 18:3).

St. Augustine tells us: “IT WAS PRIDE that changes angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels. Humility is the foundation of all the other virtues. The soul in which this virtue does not exist, there cannot be any other virtue except in mere appearance. There is something in humility that strangely exalts the heart. This is the very perfection of man, to find out about his own imperfections. You must be emptied of that which you are full that you may be filled with that which you are empty. How can we do great things for God? Begin with the least. First think of the foundation of humility. The greater the building is to be, the deeper you dig the foundation. For once your foundation is set, the height to which you can build has been determined. You want a tower that will pierce the clouds, lay first the foundation of humility. Humility must accompany all of our actions. For as soon as we glory in our good works, they are of no further value for our advancement in virtue.” Thus the more Truth and means of sanctification we have received, we must have more humility, not less, otherwise we will end up using what we have received from God against God and against neighbor, precisely in the name of God, disguised as “an angel of light” (2Cor 11:14), in triumphalism, clericalism and juridicalism!

Our Lady communicated to Don Stefano Gobbi on November 22, 1992 (“To The Priests Our Lady’s Beloved Sons” (http://our-lady-priests.blogspot.it/):

“My beloved ones and children consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, listen to the words of your heavenly Mother, who is gently preparing you and leading you to live through these events, because the times which were foretold to you by the prophet Zechariah have now come. `An oracle of the Lord: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be completely scattered; and then I will turn my hand against the little ones. `An oracle of the Lord: In all the land, two thirds of them will be cut off and perish; and one third shall be left. `I will pass this third through fire; I will refine it as silver is refined, test it as gold is tested. `It will call upon my Name, and I will hear it; I will say:"This is my people.” And it will say: “The Lord is my God.” ‘ (cf. Zec 13:7-9)”

“I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be completely scattered; and then I will turn my hand against the little ones”. I believe that this coincides well with the prophecies of the FALSE POPE, who will corrupt “the little one”, especially those who have been abandoned by their parents and their pastors who have the vocation from God to protect the souls entrusted to them.

“Two thirds of them will be cut off and perish…” This means two thirds will lose their immortal souls in this period, and the third that saves their souls will pass “through fire; I will refine it as silver is refined, test it as gold is tested”! Right now there are very few people who have the courage to take the risk to open their eyes to the signs of the times so as not to be hypocrites (Lk 12:56; Mt 16:3; 24:32-33,51), to go against the tide of the great majority, strongly manipulated by the highly controlled mass media, who have taken the easy way of being “politically correct”, and in particular today, in the Catholic Church (“Politically Correct in the Church – EWTN”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2017/10/politically-correct-in-church-ewtn.html)! In this period of the crucifixion of the Church, the purification of the Church and of the world, we are called to not flee from the sufferings that Jesus offers and shares with us, but to offer our lives for the Body of Christ, the Church, as did Mary, the “Queen of martyrs”, at the foot of the cross with Jesus totally covered with blood and wounds and humiliations and abandoned by almost everyone. Thus most of the very few who remain faithful to the uncomfortable truth in this period will later offer with their blood the grace for the conversion of many others so as to arrive to the prophesied one third who will save their immortal souls for all eternity. “The blood of martyrs is the seed of Christians” – Tertullian.

One second in hell, one second separated from God, is more painful than all the pains put together in this short life. But one second in heaven, in the presence of God, is more happiness and joy than all the happiness and joy in this short life. God hides the reality after death to leave us totally free to choose if we want to spend eternity with our Creator; respect of our freedom is true love. Satan convinces so many today that hell does not exist and that each of us is a little god so we decide reality and truth not according to the Creator of the universe but according to ourselves. But after death, we will discover that we took the easy way of following the “father of lies” (Jn 8:44) and we will spend eternity with Satan. They say “ignorance is bliss”, but after death, it will not be so blissful for those who did not live the Our Father: “THY will be done”! Did God give us the Ten Commandments for our good or for our evil? Do we trust ourselves or do we trust our Creator? Jesus said to Saint Faustina: “If their trust is great, there is no limit to My generosity. The torrents of grace inundate humble souls. THE PROUD REMAIN ALWAYS IN POVERTY AND MISERY, BECAUSE MY GRACE TURNS AWAY FROM THEM TO HUMBLE SOULS” (Diary of Saint Faustina, 1602).

In this period Our Lady is forming the cohort of the smallest ones and Satan is forming the cohort of the important presumptuous ones, the ones who decide for themselves the truth and reality. Let us become smaller so that we will become the little children in the arms of our Heavenly Mother so she will help us persevere in this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21)! You were doing fine until this part....and closer and closer to the fullness of truth and the fullness of the means of sanctification which are found only in the Catholic Church.

That is outright wrong.

The Catholic church has no claim to be the sole means or the claim to be any means of the salvation or sanctification of the believer.

God did not establish a religion of works to be made right with Him.

He had already set one up with the Law and the Jewish sacrificial system and priesthood. He abolished it. He didn't set up a new one.

We are sanctified by the Holy Spirit by faith, the same way we are saved, not through religious observances.

John 17:17-19 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

Acts 26:14-18 And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Romans 15:15-16 But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 5:26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 10:10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 10:14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

Hebrews 13:12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.

John 14:15 is not a command but a promise.

In the Greek it says that if you love Jesus you will keep His commandments.

There’s a difference between it being an order for Law keeping and a declaration of what to expect as the natural outworking of the new birth that the born again, born from above believer will live like.

If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15

Like this one?

Matthew 23: 8-10 But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Christ.

Jesus' commandments are not the Ten Commandments...Reading a little scripture instead of being led around like a puppet would reveal that to you...

Where do you think Jesus was when the Ten Commandments were given? The Heavenly Father/Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. After all Christ went to all those 'waiting' since the time of Noah and offered them salvation, while in the tomb. Those that 'believed' are Christians in heaven... like Moses. (According to Peter) Those who ignore the so called 'Old Testament' do so at their own peril. Why, because of the upcoming tribulation of deception, willing to believe lies.. You know, Paul's writings, right there where some claim a 'rapture doctrine'. Problem for the 'rapture doctrine' is they have NO clue the first supernatural entity offering a 'rapture' will be none other than the devil himself.

Those that claim that the Ten Commandments are not of Christ are already up to their eyeballs in the tribulation of deception...

If there is true humility and the willingness to follow Jesus all the way to calvary and even die for Jesus as he died for each one of us, this person will find the uncomfortable truth, Christ crucified, each day, which will lead him closer and closer to Christ, the truth (Jn 14:6), and closer and closer to the fullness of truth and the fullness of the means of sanctification which are found only in the Catholic Church.

We gain Heaven through faith in Christ...not the Roman Catholic church.

When a person follows Christ they are indwelt with the Holy Spirit to guide them. They have the Truth at that point. They are sanctified. They cannot be saved anymore...in other words they are fully saved. It's not an ongoing process. Christ doesn't save you a little today and then a little tomorrow.

The believer in Christ is fully saved.

IF the Ten Commandments (the law) are no longer in effect , what is the problem with 'worshiping or serving idols'?

Jesus' commandments are not the Ten Commandments...

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

...

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

...

And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

...

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Actually, it's the bowing down to graven images where they are breaking the command.

Now, they can get into all kinds of semantics about what *worship* is, but bowing down is pretty objectively observed.

And the command is to not BOW DOWN to them.

That is the most un-Biblical, nuttiest, scariest thing I’ve read in my life. I spent my life reading, btw.

Then finish your hair; grab your sweetie; and head out the door - for more is coming your way!!

Ambrose: …constantly pray ‘Open to us, O Mary, the gates of paradise, since thou hast its KEYS.

Anselm: It suffices, O Lady, that thou willest it, and our SALVATION is certain.

Antoninus: …souls protected by Mary, and on which she casts her eyes, are NECESSARILY JUSTIFIED AND SAVED.

Athanasius: …And, thou, O Lady, wast filled with grace, that thou mightiest be the way of our SALVATION and the means of ascent to the heavenly Kingdom.

Bernadine: …all gifts, all virtues, and all graces are dispensed by the hands of Mary to whomsoever, when, and as she pleases. O Lady, since thou art the dispenser of all graces, and since the grace of salvation can ONLY come through thy hands, OUR SALVATION DEPENDS ON THEE.
(Leo XIII: Adiutricem populi, September 5, 1895) — [p. 19, no. 44]

Blosius: To the, O Lady, are committed the KEYS and the treasures of the kingdom of Heaven.

Bonaventure: …the gates of heaven will open to all who confide in the protection of Mary. Blessed are they who know thee, O Mother of God, for the knowledge of THEE is the high road to everlasting life, and the publication of thy virtues is the way of ETERNAL SALVATION . Give ear, O ye nations; and all you who desire heaven , serve, honor Mary, and certainly you will find ETERNAL LIFE.

She says, "He that shall find Me shall find life, and shall have salvation from the Lord.   "Qui me invenerit, inveniet vitam, et hauriet salutem a Domino."

Listen," exclaims St. Bonaventure on these words, "listen, all you who desire the kingdom of God: honor the most Blessed Virgin Mary, and you will find life and eternal salvation."  "Audite qui ingredi cupitis regnum Dei: Virginem Mariam honorate, et invenietis vitam et salutem perpetuam."-psalt. B.V.ps.48.

Ephem: …devotion to the divine Mother…is the unlocking of the heavenly Jerusalem.

Fulgetius: …by Mary God descended from Heaven into the world, that by HER man might ascend from earth to Heaven.

Guerric: …he who serves Mary and for whom she intercedes, is as CERTAIN of heaven as if he were already there…and those who DO NOT serve Mary will NOT BE SAVED.

Richard of Laurence: Mary, in fine, is the mistress of heaven; for there she commands as she wills, and ADMITS whom she wills.

“The Catholic Church has always and with justice put all her hope and trust in the Mother of God.”

(Leo XIII: Encyclical, Supreme Apostolatus, September 1, 1883.) — [p. 32, no. 104]

“... Yet our manner of praying to the Blessed Virgin has something in common with our worship of God so that the Church even addressed to her the words with which we pray to God: ‘Have mercy on sinners.’”

(Leo XIII: Encyclical, Augustissimae, September 12, 1897.) [p. 68; no. 302]

"Only She Can Help You"
by Father Nicholas Gruner, S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.)
In this letter introducing The Fatima Crusader Issue 38, Father Gruner discusses the growing lies and deception about Russia's errors and the consecration of that nation. He also reminds us that, while it is urgent that we be informed about and fight for Our Lady's cause, we must ask for Her help and intercession.

In the Fatima sanctuary, at the exact spot where Our Lady appeared, Father Gruner pays homage to Her while touching the original statue of Fatima. Father Gruner was recently graced with this rare opportunity since normally this sacred image is always protected by a glass covering which completely surrounds it all day long.

Mary Leads Her Servants to Heaven
by St. Alphonsus de Liguori
In this article taken from The Glories of Mary, Saint Alphonsus explains that there are countless souls in Heaven who are there now only because Mary, by Her powerful intercession, led them there. If a soul persists in true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, She will certainly lead that soul to Heaven.

The Rosary
by Father Stefano Manelli, S.T.D.
It is greatly important that Our Lady insisted on the Rosary. When at Fatima She spoke of the salvation of sinners, of the ruin of souls in hell, of wars and peace, and of the future of our age. Our Lady indicated and recommended the Rosary as the prayer that saves, that brings peace, that preserves the faith.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace
by Father Stefano Manelli, S.T.D.
It is truly a treasure to have a strong devotion to Our Lady, for it is She who unites us to Jesus and brings us to Heaven, as this article explains.

Mary, Our Life, Our Sweetness, Our Hope
by St. Alphonsus de Liguori
St. Alphonsus de Liguori explains how Mary is our life, how She is our sweetness, and how She is our hope.

The historical record of the worship of Mary accumulated by St. Alphonsus de Liguori who wrote “The Glories of Mary” in the year 1745, which has been since translated into English and printed again and again and again with the full affirmation and imprimatur of the official Roman Catholic Church.  In this book there is the sum of all the glories of Mary which has been vouchsafe to the Roman Catholic Church and the Church itself calls upon all its constituents to give Mary that honor she is due.  She is identified as Mary, our Queen; Mary, our mother; Mary, our life; Mary, our sweetness; Mary, our hope; Mary, our help; Mary, our Mediatress; Mary, our advocate; Mary, our guardian; and Mary, our salvation.  It is said that Mary delivers us from hell, Mary delivers us from purgatory, and Mary leads us to heaven.  And it should be said that de Liguori, who collected all the Marion dogma and devotion, was himself one of the most celebrated and revered authorities in the Roman Catholic Church.  De Liguori was himself a cardinal in life, and a saint in death.

Jesus said "Without Me you can do nothing". In this crisis which looms ahead of us, Our Lady has told us that we need Her help, Her intercession. We must ask for Her help with the Rosary and the Scapular.

At Fatima, Our Lady told us very plainly that "Only I can help you". Today more than ever is this so true.

Pray the Rosary and sacrifice yourself for Our Lady.

I urge you to also make some sacrifices as Our Lady of Fatima asked us. For those who are able, do some fasting. If you can, abstain from meat by eating meat only during one meal a day. Try to do this for two days, even ten days or 30 days. Of course we should abstain totally from meat every Friday.

Jesus and Mary — Our Hope

It is so urgent that we reach as many souls as possible before it is too late. Let us be of good cheer and remember the words of Jesus to each of us, "It's never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary." That is why it is so important to reach the many millions of souls who do not know this, and who do not know the grave dangers lying in wait for their souls.

No, we must never lose hope. Mary is our hope. She can obtain for us what we cannot by ourselves. Read what St. Alphonsus has to say regarding confidence in Our Lady's intercession in "Mary Leads Her Servants to Heaven". Father Manelli also reminds us of the importance of devotion to Our Lady. (See "Hail Mary, Full of Grace"). Our Blessed Mother tells us to turn to Her in confidence. She tells us repeatedly to ask Her intercession through the frequent fervent praying of the Rosary. (See "The Rosary"). She tells us we must pray the Rosary every day. She wants us to pray it many times a day.

"Blessed is he whose interior offers the Blessed Virgin Mary a place of repose." Devotion towards the Blessed Virgin remains in all who are the inheritance of Our Lord; that is to say, in all who will praise Him eternally in Heaven.

O, how many blessed souls are now in Heaven who would never have been there had not Mary, by Her powerful intercession, led them thither. I made that in the heavens there should rise light that never faileth. Cardinal Hugo, in his commentary on the above text of Ecclesiasticus, says in the name of Mary, "I have caused as many saints in Heaven through Her intercession, who would never have been there but through Her ."

...in the words of St. Ambrose, "Open to us, O Mary, the gates of paradise, since Thou hast its keys." "Aperi nobis, O Virgo coelum, cujus claves habes." Nay more, the Church says, that "Thou art its gate."

St. Antoninus tells us "that this divine Mother has already, by Her assistance and prayers, obtained Heaven for us, provided we put no obstacle in the way."23

Hence, says Abbot Guerric, "he who serves Mary, and for whom She intercedes, is as certain of Heaven as if he was already there."24

St. John Damascene also says, "that to serve Mary and be Her courtier is the greatest honor we can possibly possess; for to serve the Queen of Heaven is already to reign there, and live under Her commands is more than to govern."25

On the other hand, he adds, "that those who do not serve Mary will not be saved; for those who are deprived of the help of this great Mother are also deprived of that of Her Son and of the whole court of heaven."26

 23.  "Coeleste nobis regnum, suo interventu auxiliis, et precibus, impetravit."—Paciucch. Sup. Salve Reg. exc. I.
 24. "Qui Virgini famulatur, ita securus est de paradiso, ac si esset in paradiso."
 25. "Summus honor, servire Mariæ, et de ejus esse familia; etenim ei servire, regnare est; et ejus agi frænis, summa libertas."
 26. "Gens quæ non servierit illi, peribit; gentes destitutæ tantæ Matris auxilio, destituuntur auxilio Filii et totius curi’‘ coelestis."— De Laud. B. M. I. 4.

The Catholic church has no claim to be the sole means or the claim to be any means of the salvation or sanctification of the believer.

Oh YEAH??!!??

Try to find just ONE Catholic on FR that will DISAGREE with the following:

"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours."

--Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)
