Looks as if a little leaven has gotten into the mix. ;-)

Probably rooted in ethnic traditions dating back to pagan times.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)
To: ealgeone
It worked for us. House sold within a week after no action for some time.

No idea where it came from but I did it and my house sold in 2 weeks

Pagan superstition, as many Roman practices - temples/churches devoted to specific saints, making saints into demigods and demigoddesses, etc.
Nothing new here.
To: Rio
I’ve heard of this before. I wondered if there was a saint in charge of helping you FIND the house you want.

I did this, my land hasn’t sold yet, two years later.

BAHAHAHAHAHA, being Honest is a virtue, Just ask the Lord if it his Will to Please let your House sell. That has always worked for me.
To: ealgeone
Yes, it's for real. I know several people who have done it. All the houses sold, but I can't say for sure that St. Joseph had any part in it.

And I thought we were going to be reading about ways to plant the flag, so to speak.

What does your question have to do with the article?

Out of curiosity....Roman Catholics believe Mary can hear/answer every prayer and that she has appeared as an apparition who promises to give the Roman Catholic everything they ask through recitation of the Rosary....why do they do this then?

Spanish and/or South America type superstition crosses Christianity. Yes for real that people do this. It’s not biblical.

This is crazy. The first time I ever heard of this was this past Saturday by my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Now today, and I’m Catholic.
