Almighty God of timeless grace, you call us from the exile of our sin
with the good news of restoration; We repent our sin and ask for your forgiveness. You come to us and bring us home comforting us with the expectation of your saving power, made known to us in Jesus Christ our Lord God of hope,
Guide and strengthen us to live the life you have called each of us to live.
Hear our humble prayer as we ask for guidance, protection, wisdom for President Trump and Vice President Pence, their administration and their families.
We pray that that we may all serve you in holiness and faith giving reality to your presence with us.

Lord God Jesus,
Oh how we thank you for your protection of this country though we are undeserving of it....thank you for preventing the Port Authority bomber from carrying out his intentions today.....thank you for keeping our President and first family safe....most of all thank you for all those who keep them safe.... may you continue to be their eyes and minds as they go about their work to always see and stop the hidden foes....
