Since Christ first promised His disciples He would return, Christians have wondered if their generation is the one that would witness the fulfillment of that promise.
And probably every generation since has thought itself to be the last generation, basing their belief on the perceived or actual declining moral standards of society in their day.
Yet for all the speculation and hearsay, only one generation can be the final generation, and all the evidence points to ours.
For centuries, Christians have used anecdotal evidence, such as "things have never been so bad" or "look at all the evil in the world," as a basis for believing their generation was the last generation of this age. Yet very few biblical signs of Christ's return, if any at all, were present for these generations.

The technology for the mark is in place.
The enabling of a one world government is in place.
The bottom is dropping out in morality like never before with all the homosexual agenda and transgender crap.
The establishment of a 10 nation European Union is not out of the question.
There are just so many other things that add to how bad it is that make it more likely that we are that one generation.

Revelation 3:18 provides some challenges for a switch to a physical buying and selling in Revelation 13.
I would ask others what store/marketplace did/does the Laodicean church ‘buy from Him gold refined by fire’ and garments of white to cover the nakedness? (rev 3:18)
That buying appears to be a spiritual transaction in Revelation 3.
If that is also a spiritual transaction in Revelation 13, that can be going on this very day..

So instead of man acknowledging God the father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit of God (Trinity), Many scholars believe that there will be a concerned Effort made by the elites for all of us to dispense with God altogether in favor of man (e.g. You are of no earthly good if you are heavenly minded). I suspect this is why the elites are elevating Islam; to bring Christianity down.
Correct. The Mark of the Beast has not yet begun. However, identification, methods already in place, electronic access/pathways, restrictions, etc. are paving the way.
One such method paying the way is India collecting retina scans and fingerprints of all their 1.2 billion people. Been going on for years. They have no idea the Tribulation is coming.

As I’ve mentioned before, the Greek word is “charagma” (hat tip to Dr. Ed Hindson) - it is used for some sort of tattoo that will coincide with the False Prophet enforcing this systems; just after the Antichrist performs the Abomination that Causes Desolation.
The Tribulation (nor the Great Tribulation referenced in the preceding paragraph) have not yet begun. Doesn’t seem too far off, though, some days.
