* Evicted five centuries ago by crusading Christians, the Arabs are back in Spain, using their oil dollars to buy land that was seized from their ancestors by the sword". James M. Markham, The New York Times, 1981.
* The Madrid daily ABC wrote that 800 mosques in Spain are out of control. The Spanish daily La Razon charged that Gulf donors, such as Qatar, were a source of Spain's Islamization. The Saudis also launched a new Spanish television channel, Córdoba TV, as did Iran.
* They dream of, and work to, regain the "lost Caliphate" of Spain. Some Islamists do it with bombs and car-ramming attacks. Others, more surreptitiously, do it with money and dawa, Islamic propaganda. The second way may be even more effective than the first.
The ceremony in 2003 was announced with bombastic headlines: "After a wait of more than 500 years, Spanish Muslims, have finally succeeded in building a mosque of their own in the shadow of the Alhambra, once the symbol of Islamic power in Europe". A troupe from al Jazeera was sent to follow the event: a muezzin climbed to the minaret of the Great Mosque of Granada to call the faithful to prayer for the first time in five centuries.
From Osama bin Laden to the self-proclaimed Caliph, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, all the leaders of the global jihad -- including the terror cell that killed 17 people in Barcelona -- have mentioned Spain among the lands to be conquered by Islam. There is, however, not only jihad. There is also "the quiet conquest", as it has been dubbed by the French magazine, Valeurs Actuelles. The quiet conquest is a sinuous attempt to re-Islamize Spain through cultural centers, mega-mosques, proselytizing, conversions and financial investments. This pacific attempt to elicit submission......

Jews follow the Torah Law for Jews (613 commandments). I am a non-Jew. I follow the Torah Law for Gentiles (7 commandments). The 10 commandments are part of the 613 Jewish commandments. You cannot follow the Torah Law for Jews and the Torah Law for Gentiles at the same time. The Noahide prohibition of idolatry includes the prohibition of creating a new religion and adding a commandment. Like a true christian, you disregard the most important and practical part of Torah (Torah Law). And you focus on the most abstract and secondary part of Torah (Messiah). The Jewish Messiah does not have the authority to create a new religion or to change Torah Law. He is not G-d. Nor is he the greatest prophet of G-d (Moses). The holy book of christianity is called the **new** testament. I rest my case. I joined Free Republic because of the Zionist Conspirator. I love his writings. And he is my friend. I did not join to have endless debates with christians. If you have a sincere question about the details of the 7 Commandments, I will happily answer you. You may learn a few things.
John 3:18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
Then I would suggest you dont post in an open forum. If you do, then you can expect some pushback. Not everyone shares your belief system. God will be the judge of that.
We have a conundrum here. You claim to keep these so called 7 laws. My point is, there isnt one single solitary person on planet earth, who keeps ANY of the law, not one. In order to have an eternal portion in the future world to come, you better be 💯% perfect, from the start of your life, to the end of it. God requires 💯% perfection, or there goes your eternal portion, right down the tubes. Since I am totally convinced, that you are not perfect, what part of the conundrum does that put you in? Eternal portion, or no eternal portion?
You can put your trust in your own ability to keep the laws. I am not going to do that, under ANY circumstances. I will put my trust in the ONLY one who was EVER perfect. Keep having endless debates with Christians. You might learn something, but if you keep posting to an open forum, you can expect opposition. 👍🇵🇭😀😆😄
The new testament has no theological importance in Torah Law. You could have quoted Alice in Wonderland.
Torah forbids new religions. Christianity is a new religion. There is nothing to discuss. I did NOT expect that this would be so hard for people to understand. There is no source in Torah Law that a person must be 100% perfect.
But Jesus did not come to start a new religion.
Religion does not save anyone.
Jesus came to restore the broken relationship between God and man that sin caused by paying the penalty for that sin, which is death of the sinner.
Being good is not dying.
Nothing is dying but dying.
And since Jesus never sinned, even though He died, death had no power to hold Him so He defeated death by rising again.
And when that righteousness is credited to the account of the believer who believes by faith that God will do as He promised, then the believer becomes a child of God and back in right, restored relationship with his Creator. God can accept him as such since the penalty for that persons sin has been paid.
Not one single act of *good* works can do anything to redeem a man when the wages of sin is death. Wrong form of payment.
Leviticus 11:44 For I am the LORD your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground.
Holy as God is holy sounds like perfection to me.
Unless you want to claim that God is not perfect or sinless.
Sorry to disappoint you bro, but it was started by God, not by man, right after Adam and Eve ate the fruit in the Garden of Eden.
If its all the same to you, I will keep using the New Testament. Its done well by me for many years, it will continue to do well by me for the rest of my days. The New Testament is an anvil that has worn out many hammers. If you dont want to use it, thats on you bro.
You are posting what Christians consider to be a false religious system. You can expect never ending debates, from people who have perfect understanding of spiritual issues. Whether you like it or not, they are going to post New Testament verses.
I agree with you on one point. This really isnt hard to understand, but here is a New Testament verse for you, that about sums up the whole issue. 1st Corinthians 1:18, For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. We Christians have a spiritual understanding that the rest of the world does not.
Ok bro, I agree with you on another point. There is nothing to discuss. You are on your own, there is no reason to discuss this with you any further. I hope you enjoy your eternal portion of the future world to come. I know I will. 🇵🇭🙃😊👍
Made up and not in the passage of Scripture you quoted.
As a side point: I once had a noahide cover for my Bible (the complete Scriptures - Hebrew and Church) during college.
All my Christian friends loved my noahide Bible cover. It eventually cracked, like any imitation material. Later, I could afford to replace it with a genuine leather cover.
Without the Oral Torah explanations it can sound like and mean anything at all. Your subjective interpretation of a verse in the Written Torah is not Torah Law. There is no source in the authoritative codifications of Torah Law that a person must be 100% perfect.
A wise man said that I am wasting my time discussing christianity. I think that he is right. This is my very last post on this subject. Stay well.
It says what it says, others opinions notwithstanding, no matter who they are and how long they've been around. If you are going to put the traditions of men above the Word of God, you are heading for trouble.
But you are free to reject that God requires the same level of holiness to be in His presence that He has.
That is, BTW, why Adam and Eve were cast out from His presence for simply eating a piece of fruit.
Or how about this? Micah 5:2. But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Now let me see. Who could possibly be born in Bethlehem, and I dont mean Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, that is to be ruler in Israel? Hmmm, I just wonder, who it is who could have eternal existence? After all, his goings forth have been from everlasting. That sounds like he came right out of eternity to me. Did you come to the same conclusion I did, that this was a direct reference to Jesus Christ, who was born in Bethlehem? I know you did. But hey, maybe some people just dont get it. All I can say is, thats on them. They have been warned. 😀😆😄👍🇵🇭
Correct me if I am wrong MM, but wouldnt that be the epitome of false religion? Putting the traditions of men, above the Word of God, seems to be a common theme among false religionists. 😀😆😄
It sure is.
The Jewish religious leaders of Jesus' day were guilty of NULLIFYING the word of God with their traditions. That is always going to be a problem when the opinions of sinful men are accepted in place of the reading and reasoning of the Word of God. It will be the blind leading the blind, as Jesus said, and them both falling into a ditch. Some people prefer the ditch, I guess.
LOL, well, from reading some posts here, it would appear you are correct BB. Spiritually dead people, trying to pontificate about issues that require spiritual discernment, is NEVER going to work. They have been warned. Their blood is on their own hands.
You can probably tell, I am not into oral traditions. 🇵🇭😆😄
Then it's no wonder you are enamored of it!
Matthew 5:48
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
He's already made this claim about Jesus.
Spanish women have 1.3 children on average.
Muslim women have 8.
It’s all over. Not an issue anymore of what should be done, it’s done already. A simple math problem, really.
