Hot off the presses and hitting a church near you comes the pamphlet, Our Faith Teaches: Welcoming the Refugee and the Migrant. The pamphlet begins the churchs two-year mass education effort to condition (especially United States) Catholics to support programs like Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and apparently accept global migration by any immigrant group -- no questions asked.
The Share the Journey website first introduces us to immigrant Ruth -- a name obviously meant to invoke the Biblical Ruth who was widowed and then followed her mother-in-law into a strange land -- and famously gave the world, Whither thou goest, I will go. Todays Ruth, however, sadly lived in the shadows until President Obama introduced DACA. We are told that, Over 780,000 youth have received protection from the DACA program since its inception by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2012. The USCCB official statement is pretty clear on the subject and reads in part:

Francischurch ping.
It’s our country, we have a right to keep it and the fake pope can blow it out his cassock.
But it could never get as weird as you :)
A pope can resign. There should also be a provision to remove one that is a continual PR nightmare.
Steve Bannon is right: this is just about the economically challenged Vatican getting more illegal immigrant “butts in the pews” (excuse the pun) in order to keep the coffers flowing.
The corruption in the RCC is why they are financially challenged: paying out so much money to abuse victims.
The young boys of illegal immigrants make perfect fodder for them, while their parents are giving money to the church.
Immigrant “Ruth”!!!!! A name obviously chosen so as not to be Hispanic or Arabic. Imagine if the name had been Jamila!
This is the pope sticking his nose into politics again. He worked as a diplomat to bring about the Cuba deal and the Iran nuclear deal. He needs to resign.
Ruth adopted the language, culture and faith of the nation that she would have accept her, and did so with utter humility, and no sense of entitlement.
The Pope is going crazy trying to twist the Word of God to mean what they want it to mean politically. Nutjob weird.
Let’s not forget the Pope’s unprecedented assault on Trump back in 2016.
Face palm on this pope. Lord, get him to retire please.
Sounds like the Church is on a fast-track to losing my donation. Almost held it back after this morning’s sermon from a visiting priest.
There won’t be any ‘almost’ the next time anyone spouts this malarkey from the pulpit.
Next stop - schism.
A familiar location. The Roman Catholics were the first schismatics.
It’s high time we stop thinking of the Catholic Church in the U.S. as a religious institution. It’s a political organization, and is no different than any other group that plants itself in Washington for the sole purpose of begging Congress for money from American taxpayers.
Yes, the Church seems to be stretching the Gospels to incled “stewardship” of the earth and handing you country to any poor bum that comes along, if the posters hanging in the halls are any indication.
The Sankt Gallen Mafia Club REALLY sucks.
Fixed it for them.
I was a regular weekly church goer but I haven’t been going much as this anti-Pope keeps pushing the Church into globalism, homosexual acceptance and anti-capitalism
Bannon is 90% right. The USCCB is being bribed by the Dems to push this stuff in exchange for money for Catholic Charities, etc. The bishops promote the Dems' legislation that will bring in more future Democratic voters, who will vote for Dems, and so on. The bishops don't really care about getting these immigrants and migrants in the pews anymore, as the real money comes from the government.
Ruth not only adopted her Mother-In-Law’s Religion, she also adopted the language, customs, and culture of Israel, her adopted country.
To compare Ruth (who “signed the guest book” and assimilated) to modern-day illegal aliens is disingenuous at the least, and downright duplicitous at its worst.
