AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL ~ 9/12/17 (Prayer)

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT TRUMP and VICE PRESIDENT PENCE and for AMERICA: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

The LORD is Great ~ our LORD is above all gods. Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, in Heaven and in earth, the in seas and in all deeps. He makes the clouds rise from the ends of the earth, fashioning lightning for the rain, bringing the wind from His storehouses. . . You who revere the LORD, bless the LORD. (Ps. 135:5-7; 20)

OH GOD, creation groans. The winds blow, the waters rage, judgment hits in one place, mercy proceeds and spares in another, and with just a twinkle of an eye and a change of force in the wind, despair turns from hopelessness and fear, to Praise and Thanksgiving.

All the while, THY most precious creation, man created in THY IMAGE, find in their hearts the ability to love, to help, to pray, to intercede, to give to one another. OH GOD, YOUR WAYS are not our ways, who can fathom the GLORY of THY WAYS and the GOODNESS of THY JUDGMENTS to the sons of man.

FATHER GOD, we pray that the events of the past few weeks will not be in vain. We pray for a revival in our land. For hearts to be changed, families to be reunited, hope to be restored, GLORY TO BE GIVEN TO YOU for YOU have shown YOURSELF both POWERFUL and MERCIFUL. OH GOD, please spare our Nation from its sins.

And we ask these things in the NAME OF JESUS, our SAVIOR, our ROCK, our SALVATION, our GOD. Blessed be the NAME of the LORD, now and forever. Amen.

In the aftermath of this week and last, thank you all who come to pray. For those without service, may they know our presence in prayer, for those in need may they experience our hands in prayer, for those in despair and sorry, may they feel our love in comfort through prayer, all in the NAME OF JESUS, the Author and PERFECTER of FAITH. Amen.

Father God, we thank You for the mercy which You pour out upon this land. We thank You for opportunity to appeal directly to You. We thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ Who offers all hope of Salvation.

Father God, we pray on behalf of those with hardened hearts that are not amazed by Your majesty. Father, we ask that their hearts be softened, that they would cease to reject You and would begin to love You and to serve You.

We ask that the chains of darkness be lifted and that our hearts be prepared for a revival of Your Holy Spirit. We ask these things in Jesus' precious name.

In times of trouble many who have never understood Your gospel look to You for help, Father. Now may they also hear and know Your gospel: that they must be born anew of water and the Spirit, and that they must repent and recognize their sinful nature, the sins they have committed, and the sins committed in their name, such as prayer banned from schools and legal abortion on demand.

Cleanse the hearts and souls of all who cry out to You, Father. Let them renounce wickedness and know that it is You Who made heaven and earth, and all laws of physics and righteousness.
