THE proportion of Scots who say they have no religion has reached a new high, a survey shows.
The latest Scottish Social Attitudes survey found that nearly six in 10 (58%) describe themselves as having no religion, up from 40% in 1999.
The survey, carried out by ScotCen, revealed that those aged 18-34 were the least likely to be religious, at 74% compared to 34% of those over 65.
The Church of Scotland has been hardest hit by the drop in religious affiliation, with just 18% saying they belong to the Kirk compared to 35% in 1999.
The proportion of Roman Catholics (10%), other Christian affiliations (11%) and non-Christian religious people (2%) in Scotland has remained relatively stable over the same period.
Ian Montagu, researcher at ScotCen, said “The decline in religious identity in Scotland has been most keenly felt by the Kirk as fewer and fewer people choose to describe themselves as Church of Scotland by default.

The survey results are discouraging enough but the proposed “cure” is even worse. And would only make the decline worse. People who want to live sinful lives usually have no desire to start attending churches, even corrupted ones The decline in church/ synagogue membership is usually greatest at those denominations that have abandoned faith and moral principles.

Survey is nonsense, all Scottsman go to church every Sunday (and any who don’t are not true Scosttmen).
This is exactly the reason why the Anglican Church in North America consecrated a Missionary Bishop to the United Kingdom recently. There were over 50 Bible-believing Bishops from all over the world laying hands on him. The Archbishop of Canterbury was/is not happy about it.
Scotland and western Europe are ripe for the plucking by "the prophet" and his merry band of thugs.(may pigs be upon him).

Everything that I read indicates that the only place on earth where you'll find true Christianity is in Africa.So there's still hope,particularly if the African churches send missionaries to Europe,North America and elsewhere.
Yes, the "Post-Christian" U.K., with its secular humanism (fancy term for self-worship) is doing a great job of rolling out the red carpet for Islam. Mass insanity, truly.
