CORRISPONDENZA ROMANA and RORATE CÆLI have just learned that His Eminence Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Faith since July 2, 2012, has been dismissed by Pope Francis on the exact expiry date of his five-year mandate.
Cardinal Müller is one of the cardinals who sought to interpret Amoris Laetitia along the lines of a hermeneutic of continuity with Church Tradition. This was enough to put him among the critics of the new course imposed by Pope Bergoglio.

This was expected, as his term is up end-of-day tomorrow. Be very scared of who Francis will choose to replace him.

My 2 cents, but when are Catholics gonna say enough is enough and do a world wide walkout and halt donations to the church? That would send a clear message to the socialists and communists now transforming your church and belief system?

According to Edward Pentin at the
National Catholic Register, the likely candidates are:
Archbishop Luis Francisco Ladaria Ferrer S.J., Secretary to the CDF, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, Archbishop of Vienna, and Archbishop Bruno Forte of Chieti-Vasto.
Forte is the one who wrote the infamous paragraph in Amoris Laetitia and bragged that Francis told him to write it as ambiguously as possible.

Great. Now can the Pope dismiss Special Counsel Mueller?

Now can the Pope dismiss Special Counsel Mueller? Not even remotely funny, given the seriousness of this issue.

Muller has been a non-player in the
Amoris laetitia furore and has done little of what a prefect of the CDF should have done. He's on record as saying that AL is in perfect conformity with the writings of previous popes and that there's nothing to see here, folks.
He should have been the author of the
dubia and he should have been at the forefront of this fight.
I hope he's learned that if one is going to get shafted, one might as well get it for doing one's job and doing the right thing, rather than fence-sitting and prevaricating.

Seems you don’t really understand the situation.

Schonborn and Forte are evil. I don’t know anything about Ferrer, but the fact that he’s a Jesuit scares me.

Actually, it’s unprecedented. Traditionally the head of the CDF is kept on beyond his five-year term, until 75.
Meuller twisted himself into a pretzel to keep his job.

This was enough to put him among the critics of the new course imposed by Pope Bergoglio.Bergoglio is a cowardly worm - putting out an ambiguous encyclical, and pushing the desired anti-Tradition interpretation by praising others who so interpret it and bullying others for pro-Tradition interpretation.
Heavenly Father, by inflicting this pope on us, what are You urging us to do (or stop doing)?

Schonborn and Forte are evil. Schonborn would be a great pick for Francis. Francis could always say that because Schonborn edited the Catechism, he would never say anything that's against doctrine.

Nothing from Sunday collection goes to Rome. It’s wealthy donors who keep the Vatican afloat.
