Melania says she'll pray every day for hospitalized children following Papal meeting as she reveals she will be the first Catholic to live in the White House since the Kennedys

It’s comical that, discussing a CATHOLIC, you imagine that the “Catholic perspective” is somehow irrelevant or offensive.
Bergoglio will be dead soon. We may actually get a decent Pope. Will the Catholic Faith suddenly become true again?
Depends on how successful the ImPopester is at changing the Church.
Well, the proper response to such a person is: “The LORD rebuke you!” (Jude 9)
Bergoglio cannot change the Church. All he can do is persecute good people, promote evil people, and sow confusion. He is a puff of foul-smelling smoke.
Sorry, I will have no king but Jesus. Trump is not king, and doesn’t want to be. That kind of talk is what gives Democrats wind in their sails.

Well, I have good news for you! Sometime during September 21-22, 2017, your one King is going to open up a door in Heaven and shout, with at voice like a TRUMPet, “Come up hear!”. All that are dead in Christ, and all who are alive and hear his call will depart this world. See you on the Glassy Sea!
No man knows the day or hour. Christ will come “like a thief in the night”, meaning NOT EXPECTED. Your date is therefore wrong, like all the predictions that came before.
Romans 10
8 But what does it say?
The word is near you,
in your mouth and in your heart
(that is, the word of faith that we preach),
9 for, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
11 For the scripture says, No one who believes in him will be put to shame.
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching all who call upon him.
13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

There have been presidents of many different Christians sects, from the start of this nation. Many were LOUSY Christians/pretend Christians who weren't any better presidents. And WHO cares what their respective wives ( one president didn't even have a wife ! )were? Surely not I!
The vast majority of FLOTUSES have been absolutely THE worst dressers ever! Only a very few ( Dolly Madison was the first one )ever had any taste ( and some of them were "dressed" by others and it was NOT even their own "style"! ) were trend setters/fashion icons and also great hostesses. As a matter of fact, for an extremely long time, the "ladies" of D.C. ( the presidents' wives and the wives of both Houses ) were well known as "THE DOWDY CLUB"!
Re Melania...I wish she'd ditch the damned "BOOB BELTS". She looks better, in them, than the MOOCH ever did, but they are still NOT flattering at all....not on ANYONE!
Baptism involves a pledge accepting Christ, which Trump took at the time he was baptized, in the 1970s. I don't know what the wording is in the Presbyterian Church, but the Catholic version goes as follows:
V. Do you believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth?
R. I do.
V. Do you believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered death and was buried, rose again from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the Father?
R. I do.
V. Do you believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting?
R. I do.
In order for Trump to have "recently" accepted Christ, as James Dobson alleged, Trump would have had to have renounced his earlier baptismal pledge, left the Presbyterian church, and then later changed his mind and joined some other Christian church where he once again pledged to follow Christ.
Trump maintains he has never left his faith and is "proud" to be a Presbyterian Christian and "thinks its a wonderful thing"
If I’m not mistaken, the Catholic Church accepts the Baptism of the Presbyterian Church.
The requirement is the words: “I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Water can be poured over the person to be baptized one or three times or they can be “dunked” and fully covered with water.
Okay, understood.
Pretty soon the Church of England will be no more. Whole congregations are converting back to the Catholic Church under the protection of Our Lady of Walsingham. Right before our eyes the divorce is being annulled. The mistake of obeying The Crown for fear of being drawn and quartered is behind us now.
St. Catherine of Aragon, pray for us!
Those Church rules on marriage/divorce were in effect LONG before the current Pope. So did you respect them during John Pauls’s, and Benedict’s tenures, but lose respect when Francis was installed?
No I pretty much lost respect for the Church when they moved a known pedophile into our parish from another where he had been abusing children so he could abuse children in ours.
That was a permanent black stain on the church, no doubt.
