Is Sister Christian sitting next to you in Sunday service a closet New Ager? Is your pastor tapping into new spirituality? Are you believing a new thought lie?
I was simply shocked to read the results of a new Barna study that shows only 17 percent of Christians who consider their faith important and attend church regularly actually have a biblical worldview. But I was decidedly dismayed by the subsequent revelations in the report.
In a nutshell, Barna found many Christians strongly agree with worldviews that compete with biblical teachings. In other words, many believers are believing flat out lies. Consider these startling stats about practicing Christians:
38 percent are sympathetic to some Muslim teachings
61 percent agree with ideas rooted in new spirituality
54 percent resonate with postmodernist views
36 percent accept ideas associated with Marxism
29 percent believe ideas based on secularism

That is the big one that Satan in putting all his marbles on!

Here are the core beliefs of our church:
1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God
2. There is one sovereign God
3. The deity of Jesus Christ
4. Salvation through Christ alone
5. The local church is a movement of God’s people to fulfill the Great Commission according to Matthew 28:16-20
Oh, he will be "rewarded" all right.
I pray for his salvation, as I pray for anyone's salvation. But I wouldn't bet my mortgage payment on it....
“I work in retail and one of the most dreaded days of the week is Sundays. The local upstate gentry all in their Sunday bests, are often the rudest, most unhappy customers all week”
1:00pm on Sunday had cars wrapped around the store I worked in. That was the time I learned when all the megachurches let out.
Obama is all over the map, isn’t he? He is clueless.
Matthew 25:13 my friend. Watch and hope, but none of us knows the day or the hour.

He is a man on a mission to destroy the gospel of the kingdom.

Understand the Hebrew idiom!
We do know the Biblical month, and the day and the hour are what make the beginning of that month: Tishri.
Yeshua told us exactly when he is coming by reciting that Hebrew Idiom.
Ignorance may be bliss, but it will also be the top of the slippery slope to condemnation.
.
This is laughable coming from Charisma Magazine, which is perhaps the greatest promoter of heresy on the planet.
Prime reason, if you are a Believer, to stay in the Word.
I hear you.
I have a friend who told me that his church attendance was tertiary in his walk with Christ.
It is good to go but if that's the mainstay of your Christian walk, then something is seriously amiss.
I agree that it is a bit vague and I don’t really know what she refers to as the grace message that perverts the gospel.
If anyone has any ideas, I’d be happy to hear them.
I’m thankful that our church is involved in NONE of those things on that list.
That is it in a nutshell.
What would things look like if Satan really took control of a city? Over a half century ago, Presbyterian minister Donald Grey Barnhouse offered his own scenario in his weekly sermon that was also broadcast nationwide on CBS radio.
Barnhouse speculated that if Satan took over Philadelphia, all of the bars would be closed, pornography banished, and pristine streets would be filled with tidy pedestrians who smiled at each other. There would be no swearing. The children would say, Yes, sir and No, maam, and the churches would be full every Sunday . . . where Christ is not preached.
Are you predicting the day of His coming? Jesus said neither he nor the angels know that date. One would have to be more intelligent about biblical matters that Jesus in order to know this.
C.S. Lewis, in Screwtape Letters, said something similar.
That Satan does not care if we are rich and famous and healthy, wealthy, and prosperous. Whatever it takes to keep us from Christ.
He’d rather make us miserable and then take us to hell, but if it entails giving us a good life now to get us there, it’s collateral damage in his eyes.
That’s the danger I see in the prosperity gospel preaching.
A little more explanation of the idiom would be helpful
Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets) was the day Yeshua was calling out, and the words he spoke were the traditional reference to that day, so thus he plainly told his elect exactly what day of what month he would be returning to gather his bride.
Yom Teruah is the only appointed feast that is not known weeks before it happens, because it is the only one that occurs right at the appearance of the new moon.
One must watch for Yom Teruah just as Yeshua said in Revelation 3:3. To those that do not watch, he will definitely “come as a thief.”
At this point it very much looks like the year will be 2024, provided Israel acquires the rest of the land (Jordan,Syria) this year.
