However, as used in the phrase in question, "damn" is profanity.
- Prove your assertion
- Document your definition
- Or withdraw your accusation.

There were abuses in practice, NOT abuses in teaching. When the PRACTICE does NOT match the TEACHING; where will you place the blame for it?

"At Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary told the three child seers that many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray or make sacrifices for them." That's simply wrong theology because with the death and resurrection of Jesus, God eliminated the sacrificial system.
In Christ Jesus, sin and death were conquered once for all.
Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Any teaching that denies the efficacy of the work of Christ on the cross is from the enemy. That apparition stated something that contradicts Scripture
Therefore, it's safe to conclude that it's demonic in origin.

It is biblical to pray for the dead.
You just have an incomplete Bible.
Check out Maccabees. — It’s there!

It is not demonic and has been approved by the Church. Your church has approved a lot of things that are not found in Scripture.
Your church is on the cusp of approving the homosexual lifestyle and communion for divorced and remarried people.
Church approval apparently means nothing.

Have those posts that look like attack post removed. That's the ticket.
Remove anything that Catholics disagree with and label as *hate*.
That way y'all won't have to see it and you'll have your little safe space where there won't be anything said to upset you or challenge your little world.

The whole apparition is against the NT. It mixes in a little lie with some truth. It is one of the worst forms of deceit, yet very effective in its ability to mislead.
BTW...good pickup on the part of no one to pray for make sacrifices for them.
You're right..In Christ Jesus, sin and death were conquered once for all.He is THE SACRIFICE.

ealgeone is already saved.
Pray for someone who doesn’t know Christ.

You can try to goad me into an argument, but I don't give a d*** what your opinion of the Catholic Church is. I do care, however, about Catholics not being able to discuss the content of the article because the thread has been hijacked and trashed by Protestants. How does non-Catholics posting on a thread keep y'all from commenting on it and discussing it among yourselves?

You are really sad trying to defend this.
Next time your in faith community stand up and say "I don't care " to a little old lady or your leader Let me know how it goes.
Document your definition of profanity.

If you cannot defend your assertion that The Catholic used profanity, you should consider withdrawing it and apologizing. The way in which it was used made it pretty obvious what the intent was.
And considering that the post has since been deleted, apparently the RM agrees.
And your argument is beyond weak. It's absolutely pathetic. Just because a word has another meaning, doesn't mean it can't and won't be used as profanity, and that time it was.

Don’t be lazy.
Provide the reference yourself, like the rest of us do.
Don’t send me along to try to find something that you claim is in there. You’re the one trying to make the claim, not me.
It’s not my job to provide support for your arguments.

AND..... JESUS HIMSELF is interceding for us to the Father.
Who needs Mary when we have JESUS HIMSELF doing it?
Romans 8:33-34 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who diedmore than that, who was raisedwho is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
Hebrews 7:25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

So right there it goes to show that the apparition lied when it said that there would be no one to pray for people or make sacrifices for them.
Jesus gave His life for us. Someone already has made a sacrifice for them.
So in both cases, the apparition was wrong.
