FULL TITLE: 'We don't want to make a man uncomfortable in church': Mother says she was told to leave a CHURCH for breastfeeding
A breastfeeding mother claims she was escorted out of a church service in Virginia and was told: 'We don't want to make a man uncomfortable in church.'
Annie Peguero has posted a video on Facebook about her treatment on Sunday at the Summit Church in Springfield and said she would never go back there.
Peguero, a personal trainer and military wife, said a church official told her: 'We don't want to make a man uncomfortable in church, and we also don't want to make a new churchgoer feel uncomfortable.'

In my church, women with screaming babies and who need to breast feed usually go into the back.
Well if she went to a mosque there would be a separate female and male only area. So she could breastfeed in the female area without having any males complain.
See how progressive sharia law is!!!
You just wait the lib-retards will spin it that way....
Don’t know if your church has a live stream or records the service via camera, lots do these days. That is a very good idea as I’m sure the mom’s don’t want an instant replay.
Shame your church does not have a baby room or cry room for them.
[ Am not against breastfeeding, in fact very much support it but this church had a “baby room” they asked her to do it there and she just refused because as you all well know “it’s all about me”. Nothing is sacred anymore. ]
It is not about things not being sacred as much as it is about people losing the sense of politeness.
But I guess being polite isn’t sacred either.
It is polite to relocate yourself and your children if they are causing havoc or disruption.
Was it Madonna? Hope it wasn’t THE Madonna.
I wonder, Where did Baby Jesus take his meals?
Look at me!
Look at ME!
Look at ME ME ME!
There is nothing profane about breastfeeding. I remember my wife once breastfeed our daughter on a bench at the Riverwalk in San Antonio and no one even had a clue what was going on.
Had she done this any place else I would not said a word, like maybe Mcdonald? After all we are eating and so is the baby what’s the big deal? Mom is just teaching the baby to eat at the table like everyone else. However this is different in a church service as church is to be sacred. Plus this church went out of their way to provide a “baby room” just so women could do this sort of thing because we understand that when baby needs to be fed baby needs to be fed.
[Look at ME ME ME!]
Yup. Yet these idiots would be outraged if someone whipped out their ding a ling in public and started urinating on the street.
Hey... it’s NATURAL!!
[Had she done this any place else I would not said a word, like maybe Mcdonald? After all we are eating and so is the baby whats the big deal?]
Sorry, I still don’t want to see that in a McD’s. esp if I am eating.
Annie Peguero has posted a video on Facebook [gee there's a surprise] about her treatment on Sunday at the Summit Church in Springfield and said she would never go back there.
The church counts its blessings..
Holy teeth marks batman!!
I imagine during Communions - she takes the wine. Baby takes the breast.
“Hold on a moment, Father. Gotta switch sides.”
This child is 19 month old, certainly old enough to eat some animal crackers or something else if a bit hungry. I was expecting this to be a 2 month old.
Oh why not? The baby’s just eating too! Plus women can be discrete about it. Hold a baby blanket up over them.
From the sounds of it this chick just pulled out one of her Dolly Domes and let the baby go at it, this is why other church members got bent out of shape. There is no need to make a production of it as suspect she was doing.
I'm confident that it was in a place, time, and manner consistent with the prevailing standards of modesty. Nothing in the Gospels or Acts suggests that Mary was the sort of person to loudly insist on her 'rights.'
Lot of women breastfeed their child until about age 2 it is their belief that the breast milk is much better for the child long term.
Mind you have no scientific evidence of this but you know what they say “Mother knows best”.
There’s nothing “profane” about urinating or defacating, either...but if you do those in public, you would be arrested. Similarly, breastfeeding is also a natural and PRIVATE act that shouldn’t be done in public.
It’s preferable to breastfeed in a bathroom stall or a car, rather than whipping your boob out in public for all to see.
