It has been apparent to me at least from the beginning that Frances was chosen in the wake of a coup d’état. It mystifies me how that was orchestrated, how the same college of cardinals that elected Benedict would then choose Frances.
And, like others, I would wonder how they got Benedict to stand down.

I posted another article from The Remnant today which asks those very questions. The questioners want answers from Pres. Trump because they believe there was some sort of collusion with the U.S. Government (Obama, Clinton, Podesta), as well as Soros, to force Benedict XVI to resign. The St. Gallen Mafia (that’s what these Cardinals call themselves!) bragged that they pushed through Bergolio.
I would rather see him converted to Christ and all of his wealth used to pay back the people, countries, and entities he has defrauded. Like Zacheus. (with nothing left for his sons to carry out his agenda)
