Dear LORD,

What applies to nations applies to individuals. I thank you for this prayer thread which constantly reminds us of that.

I pray that as Your people fight tooth and nail in prayer and vigilance to move this country (and world) in a godly direction, that we apply the same energies in fighting our own personal spiritual battles. May we have victory over the demons which seek to steal and destroy our lives and that of those around us.

Please, give us victory LORD: individually and nationally, on earth as in heaven.

I pray for an avalanche of truth to come down on America in the next crucial 10 days. I pray that we need not “wait” for Hillary to be in office until all her lies unravel beyond the point of return. I pray we not be left with her runningmate as commander in chief.

I pray for a sure and uncontested victory for Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

I pray that the Huma/Weiner classified info/sexting of underage minor/lie-cheat-steal-and-hide scandal emails in all their salacious yet grave revelations vindicate Trump as the pseudo-feminist holier than thou hypocrisy of the other side becomes apparent to all, and uncontested.

I pray for the humbling of our enemies. The humbling of the establishment.

On earth as in heaven: I repeat this, because I believe Your realities and victory for Your people apply not only in the realm of eternity but begin in this fallen world. Your redemption of creation is already at work. We are in A.D. Anno Domini, in the year of Our Lord. You are alive. You already reign.

In turn I pray for the strengthening of all your followers who have found their voice during this intense political process. May we each realize and embrace the authority we have in the name of Jesus Christ to subdue kingdoms and principalities; the forces of evil at work in our private and collectively experienced lives.

May we stay watchful and vigilant to the very end LORD...never being too confident as the Devil prowls around like a lion seeking whom he may devour. May we cling to You always. Please keep Your angel armies protecting us.

Please lead this country to You and Your ways. Please grant us victory.

Dear Lord of all wisdom, we thank you for the wisdom you have already bestowed upon Donald Trump and Mike Pence, and pray that you may bestow more, so that it may guide them into a position of blessing to America, as undeserving as it is, for you are a God of all mercy and pity to a helpless mankind if it will but consent to let you turn it back to the good.

Dear Lord, please grant that unrepented evil may soon be brought to an end. That all who put on a face of everything fine and good when it is not, will get a face of shame instead. And let those who are just starting to get drawn into it learn from the sight, as your word says, flog a mocker and the simple will learn wisdom.

In my Personal Bible Study which goes through the entire Bible several times a year (so you KNOW this isn't a mere "coincidence"), I read in "History" part of my studies 1 Samuel Chapter 30.

Here it is:

David Destroys the Amalekites

30 David and his men reached Ziklag on the third day. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it, 2 and had taken captive the women and everyone else in it, both young and old. They killed none of them, but carried them off as they went on their way.

3 When David and his men reached Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. 4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. 5 David’s two wives had been captured—Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. 6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.

7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek, “Bring me the ephod.” Abiathar brought it to him, 8 and David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?”

“Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.”

9 David and the six hundred men with him came to the Besor Valley, where some stayed behind. 10 Two hundred of them were too exhausted to cross the valley, but David and the other four hundred continued the pursuit. 11 They found an Egyptian in a field and brought him to David. They gave him water to drink and food to eat— 12 part of a cake of pressed figs and two cakes of raisins. He ate and was revived, for he had not eaten any food or drunk any water for three days and three nights.

13 David asked him, “Who do you belong to? Where do you come from?”

He said, “I am an Egyptian, the slave of an Amalekite. My master abandoned me when I became ill three days ago. 14 We raided the Negev of the Kerethites, some territory belonging to Judah and the Negev of Caleb. And we burned Ziklag.”

15 David asked him, “Can you lead me down to this raiding party?”

He answered, “Swear to me before God that you will not kill me or hand me over to my master, and I will take you down to them.”

16 He led David down, and there they were, scattered over the countryside, eating, drinking and reveling because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from Judah. 17 David fought them from dusk until the evening of the next day, and none of them got away, except four hundred young men who rode off on camels and fled. 18 David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. 19 Nothing was missing: young or old, boy or girl, plunder or anything else they had taken. David brought everything back. 20 He took all the flocks and herds, and his men drove them ahead of the other livestock, saying, “This is David’s plunder.”

21 Then David came to the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow him and who were left behind at the Besor Valley. They came out to meet David and the men with him. As David and his men approached, he asked them how they were. 22 But all the evil men and troublemakers among David’s followers said, “Because they did not go out with us, we will not share with them the plunder we recovered. However, each man may take his wife and children and go.”

23 David replied, “No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the raiding party that came against us. 24 Who will listen to what you say? The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.” 25 David made this a statute and ordinance for Israel from that day to this.

26 When David reached Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to the elders of Judah, who were his friends, saying, “Here is a gift for you from the plunder of the Lord’s enemies.” 27 David sent it to those who were in Bethel, Ramoth Negev and Jattir; 28 to those in Aroer, Siphmoth, Eshtemoa 29 and Rakal; to those in the towns of the Jerahmeelites and the Kenites; 30 to those in Hormah, Bor Ashan, Athak 31 and Hebron; and to those in all the other places where he and his men had roamed.

Father God, we lift up the puzzle of the FBI resuming investigation of Clinton. If it is Your Will, we ask that justice be served, Trump and Pence be elected, and may we no longer be a nation governed by corruption.

May we be a repentant nation that learns to love You, worship You and serve You.

Father, we do not rejoice in iniquity, but we rejoice when right and truth prevail. We remember your Word, “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.”.

We pray for our enemies. May they come to the knowledge of the truth and be set free from the bondages of the kingdom of darkness by Your glorious mercy and grace. Father God, we give you glory and praise this day. Thank you for being who you are...a holy God who is just and faithful. We pray for Donald Trump and Mike Pence today Lord. Please watch over them in their travels, keep them and those who travel with them and on their behalf safe. Give them strength and endurance and please bring a calm focus to their minds as you refresh them.

We pray Lord, that you will bind and confound the wickedness of those who deliberately corrupt, slander and go against your ways in this election. Protect the Trump/Pence ticket Lord against their hatred and the evil they would wish or do. We pray for our nation, and confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word and deed and through omission. We pray that you will heal America and that a great spiritual revival will occur so your holy Name will be praised throughout the land once again.

We humbly ask that the Trump/Pence ticket will win this election Lord. Bind the tongues of those in the other campaign or the media who lie against them. Thank you for hearing us Lord and for sending Jesus to redeem us and restore our righteousness in your sight. In His name, Amen.
