Heavenly Father,

Like the Civil War, our nation is so divided and fractured. May we recognize the real enemy, who divides us - by class, by envy, by greed, by fear, by jealousy, by our own sins. Give us a heart of repentance to confess our sins and all that divide us, except in the matters of truth.

May all God’s people turn to You, the healer of our wounds, the binder of our divisions that have given the enemy such a strong foothold in our nation. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and Wisdom to rightly divide the truth from error. Empower us to do Your will and become salt and light in a dark, rotting world.

Protect all those who go into harm's way to defend us. Shield Your servants from attacks on all fronts. And through the power of Your Spirit, may America will be great again.
